Cammie is doing much better. She is much less congested than she was and she slept most of last night on her own. Everyone slept in this morning, even the dogs! It was very surprising. I had plans to get stuff done around the house but now I don't feel well. You can't win!!! Cammie was playing in her room and she made it all the way across the rug to one of her toys that you can pull up on and she pulled up on it. When I tried to move it (it slides around if you don't prop it against something) she got a little mad and then pulled herself up on her crib. She also got onto the bottom shelf of her bookshelf and pulled all the books off. So she had a very busy day!

I have to download more pics later. I know I'm behind! Cammie is feeling much better today. She is still congested and coughing but it seems to be improving. Now I am starting to not feel well. UGH! I'm trying to ward off symptoms so hopefully I won't get sick too! Joe got some one on one quality Cammie time this morning and she gave him a fit, but in all fairness the dogs did too, so he didn't have a very good start to his day. Not much planned for this weekend. Hopefully everyone else has something exciting going on! :o)

Cammie and Uncle Michael

We took Cammie to the doctors today since she was up most of last night coughing and sneezing. And don't get me started on the snot. EW! Anyway, she weighs 19 pounds 15 ounces. Yikes! She just has an upper respiratory infection, her ears and throat are ok. Yay! I was just concerned because she has been running a fever. She is still in a really good mood though, me not so much. We did get one of those vicks vapor plugs which seems to work really well. Much nicer than rubbing that stuff on your chest.

We're just hanging out now, taking turns on the wii fit. I am still mad at it though, not only does it say that I'm fat but today my wii fit age was 52!!!! I went from 35, which is the new 25 really to OLD! Stupid game. Getting ready to watch Survivor although every time it comes on I swear I'm not going to watch it, I'm definitely losing interest in it. The Amazing Race is much better. Joe is off for the next four days so hopefully we'll get some good family time in!

Cammie and Uncle Gary

Poor Cammie has caught Joe's cold. She woke a bunch of times last night crying so hard. We felt terrible for her. Today she has been coughing and sneezing and has a runny nose. She just has a slight temp and is in surprisingly good spirits. I don't feel great either so we just kind of laid around today and took it easy (code for napped). Joe is still not feeling his best either so hopefully we can get rid of whatever it is and not keep passing it around.

Cammie has started making the baa baa sound, it's very cute. She is just the sweetest cutest thing, I can't stand it!! We are so lucky!!

Not too much going on today again. Just trying to keep Cammie occupied!! and the dogs too of course.... Cammie kind of crawled forward today, she still would rather scoot around on her butt though. She also is very impressed with herself when she pulls up on things. She watched when I used the wii fit and seemed to get a kick out of that, I guess my lack of coordination is amusing. It kind of irks me though when you step on the pad and it groans. Joe was using it this evening and Cammie grabbed on to his leg to add some difficulty to his exercise. It was funny. Then I ate some cupcakes and watched the Biggest Loser. Ironic isn't it? I finally got everyone to sleep, meaning Cammie of course, Joe doesn't have any problem going to sleep, nor do the dogs. Good night!!

I'm so tired from our busy weekend that I didn't do much today. Poor Joe has had a cold and he had to go back to work. Cammie must be growing because I think she ate just about all day today. I gave her some cut up banana and she loved it. She also likes apple slices in one of those little mesh things. She's got the chewing thing down pretty good. I can't believe how fast she is growing.

We were cleaning up from dinner and looked out the kitchen window and in the field right behind the fence there were about ten deer walking by. They were so pretty and looked pretty big.

Another social day today! We went to Jennifer and Matthew's house after Grace's christening. She looked so pretty in her dress! She is getting so big too! She's going to catch up to Cammie! Meaghan fed Cammie some pickle so when I am cleaning up the mess later I am going to save it for her!!! Cammie got passed around and was loving every minute of it. She met a new cousin (Stacy) and we told her it was cute to roll around on the table and pull her skirt up while she is still little but when she gets older we will frown on that!! On our way home we stopped by Chris and Julie's to give Kristin her birthday gift since we missed her party last night. Cammie liked hanging out with the girls!

Alice brought over her wii fit yesterday and I'm not going to tell you what my age is on there but Joe is using it now so I better get my butt out there!

Such a happy girl!!

We had a full house today! Dinner was at our house and was very well attended, Alice, Meaghan, Emily, Andrew, Donna, Bill, Joe and Melissa all came. Cammie had a blast playing with everyone, she was laughing so hard with Andrew and Melissa. It was so cute!! She got some new cute outfits from Alice and Donna for spring/summer. She also ate a bunch! Mashed potatoes (her fave), corn, a biscuit, and mini cupcakes. She was smeared with food from head to toe, it was funny. She wanted to do it by herself! She got a bath and a bottle and then fell asleep with minimal effort, I'm thinking she is going to stay that way for a while! She was exhausted. The pups are worn out as well! So am I now that you mention it! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!! :o)

I took Cammie with me to a quick doctors appointment this morning and she was a big hit in the office. Everyone thought she was just the cutest and sweetest! Of course I have to agree! We came home right afterwards because my back is hurting more than usual and I wasn't in the greatest mood. Cammie must have picked up on that because she was kind of crabby off and on throughout the day. We played some and tried to straighten up some. It was really cold and windy today! Now we're just hanging out and waiting to see if Cammie is going to fall asleep sometime tonight! Busy weekend coming up!

Better day today! Cammie has been sleeping pretty well the past few nights once she finally gets to sleep. Last night she woke up right after I mentioned that everyone was asleep but I had no trouble getting her back to sleep and then she stayed that way all night. I think sometimes the baby monitor picks up another baby though because I woke up hearing crying but when I checked on her she was out.

Today we had a visit from Uncle Gary and Uncle Michael. They were on their way to the beach. Cammie was very glad to see them and had a great time playing and laughing and being just generally adorable. She was laughing at Gary and it was so cute, just this big belly laugh. Too funny. The dogs were also glad to see them and once they got over the initial greeting were fairly well behaved. I had to keep an eye on Clyde though when they were leaving, he's their favorite!

What a yucky day today! It rained almost all day and even snowed hard for about two minutes. Meaghan came over and we went to Target in Easton. I had wanted to go to a couple of other stores but it was so nasty out we decided not to. Cammie was glad to see Meaghan once she had a nap. When we got home we played with her toys a bit and thought she might crawl but she faked us out.

I've been looking for some nice picture frames, like the collage ones but the ones I like seem to have odd shaped picture slots like 4x4. It figures!

I did find an old friend from high school on facebook, Jennifer Dewey, now her last name is Robbins. I hadn't spoken to her since well high school, which I can't believe was about a million years ago. I haven't really looked for anyone on there but I know there are a bunch of people. I can only aspire to be as popular as my Uncle Gary!!! He's got like a trillion friends, but he always has! Love ya G- and your little panties too!!! Sorry, I had too much chocolate tonight and then Joe and I played a shooting game on wii so I'm a little wound up. Going to try to chill out, everyone, including Cammie is asleep already. I'm so jealous.

Pulled up all by myself!!!!!!!

Cammie finally did it this evening. She pulled herself up to a standing position on her jungle toy. She also did it in her crib (time to lower the mattress again!). She also did a lot of moving backwards and rolling around. We had kind of a low key day today, I think the beasts forgave us for leaving them. Joe has to go back to work tomorrow so we'll all be lonely without him. Not really much to report. I did enter Cammie in Regis and Kelly's Most Beautiful Baby contest and we'll find out March 9 if she is one of the finalists. Everyone cross your fingers!!!

Cammie and Mommom

We made it back from Hershey this afternoon. Whew!!! We had a lot of fun. Friday we dropped the dogs off at Moochie's in Hanover, they didn't seem to happy to be left anywhere without us but they made out fine. We headed for Lancaster and stopped at the outlets up there and then went on to Hershey. We ate dinner at the Hershey Pantry which was right next to our hotel and was very tiny (and by tiny I mean like the front porch of a house covered in with a low ceiling). The food was really good and Cammie really enjoyed looking around and being social. She met another little girl who was two months older than her but about half her size but she was a preemie born 14 weeks early (yikes!). They were both so cute touching each others hands and smiling. Saturday we went to Zooamerica (they were having free admission this weekend so what a deal). That was a lot of fun and Cammie liked looking around. It wasn't too terribly cold and the animals were all out. It was a neat little zoo, I had never been there before. After that we went to Chocolate World and Cammie slept through most of that, we went on the tour ride and then walked around and looked at all the CHOCOLATE!!! Yum! Of course we bought a few chocolate items, we tried to restrain ourselves. We went to the Hershey outlets and then ate dinner at Funcks (I know, I spelled it right!) Family Restaurant. It also snowed which was really pretty! Even prettier when it stopped!

Sunday we went back to Lancaster and spent some time cruising around, we drove to Strasberg and saw all the railroad stuff but didn't stop. We followed some Amish people (not intentionally) and wondered how cold they were. Their horses were so pretty! I would be a nervous wreck though if I had to ride in one of those little buggies with traffic whizzing past me. The whole Amish experience left us with a lot of questions that could not be answered by the For Richer or For Poorer movie. Sadly that is my only knowledge of Amish life and I think that may have embellished a bit for Hollywood. :o) I never saw the movie Witness, maybe that one would help! (and I do love me some Harrison Ford!)

Anyway, where was I? We headed back to Hershey after stalking the Amish and ate dinner at Fire Alley which was really good and then headed back to the room to pack (ugh) and watch the Amazing Race premiere (yay). We did succeed in wearing Cammie out, she has never slept better than she did while we were away. She took naps, fell asleep by 8 and slept all night. She was also so good while we were in the restaurants. She put up with a lot of getting in and out of the car and walking around and I think she had a really good time.

The puppies were really glad to see us and Moochie and Karen said they were very good for them. Pudge was a little stressed out, Bailey was OK, Clyde really probably didn't realize we were gone and Max did really well (and by this I mean, he sounded like he made out better than he does at home sometimes). I'm still trying to put everything away and make laundry piles. It's really surprising how much extra baggage a tiny little person causes you to bring. Gotta get back to work!! Hope everyone had a good Valentine's day and a great weekend!

Oh- we really didn't take a lot of pictures because it was so cold out but I do have some new ones to post soon.

Cammie and Poppop

Another nice day but a bit windy. Luckily our power didn't go out (shocking I know) but early this morning the side window on the kitchen door blew open and the air caused our attic "door" to move. That is right outside our bedroom so needless to say it scared everyone, Clyde was the most vocal about it. Cammie got some Daddy time while I ran some errands this morning and then she stayed for a little bit with Sharon and Becca (and Ken) while we took Max and Clyde to the vet. I don't know what got into her this evening but she was not happy. She didn't want to go to sleep and she kept crying! It was so sad, she was crying and giving me hugs! We finally got her settled down and then I think she just passed out. Poor baby! We're leaving in the morning to go to Hershey. YAY! It should be fun, hopefully the weather will be nice.

Pretty in Pink

What a beautiful spring day today. Huh? Oh it's still February? CRAP!!! Six more weeks of winter???? What???? Must be frickin global warming.

Sorry I think the warm weather fried my brain. Anyway, went over to Lynn's this morning so she could highlight my hair. I accidentally bought the wrong kind of kit but we tried it anyway. It looks OK but I think it would have looked better if I had gotten two and mixed the stuff, there didn't seem to be enough "goo". Came home after that and did a little straightening up around the house. Cammie took a good nap and I got to give the pups some quality time. Sharon and Becca came outside while we were out there and Cammie woke up. I think she sensed that she might be missing something. So we went over while Becca finger painted. Cammie did a little finger painting but then she ripped a hole in her artwork. Got a bunch of errands to run tomorrow and stuff to do around the house before we leave on Friday to go to Hershey for the weekend. Very much looking forward to that! Mm mm chocolate!!!

Not a good day today. Cammie didn't sleep well at all last night and was reluctant to take a nap today. She was quite fussy and also had a code brown that was gross and she spit up on me. Pudge also had an attitude so it was not a happy house today. We are trying to wear her out this evening so hopefully she will sleep tonight (and in her own bed). Joe has to work one more day and then is off for six so he is looking forward to getting tomorrow out of the way. I made reservations for our Disney trip in Nov/Dec so now that seems official. Mom and Dad will be there the same week and the Browns are staying with us, so it will be alot of fun. I'm going to start walking now to try to get in shape! I'm sure we'll be chasing Cammie around everywhere. She'll love it!!

Cammie had the best night's sleep last night!! YAY! I guess she was worn out from all her visiting! She fell asleep before 8 and slept til almost 8 this morning. She woke up a couple of times as usual for her binky replacing but went right back to sleep. She did really well this morning getting her flu shot, she just fussed for about a second and then smiled. We went to the grocery store after that and I'm not sure I'm going to do that by myself again. Cammie wasn't bad or anything like that she just kept trying to suck on the cart edge (EW). I had her little seat cover on but she wasn't interested in the toys on that, she also kept trying to eat my list and my coupons and then grab everything I put in the cart. She was very social and everyone stopped to talk to her.

Ok, I thought the comment about the wii fit not working unless you use was "brilliant" but I heard another one last night that topped that. I thought someone said it before and I was surprised to hear it again, here goes, we were watching the Terps game and the announcer (or whatever they are called) said that the only way for the Terps to win was to put the ball in the basket. Um OK. Isn't that the general rule of basketball? Like I said I thought someone had said in a previous game but I thought it was kind of obvious and then when they said it last night I thought maybe I haven't grasped the concept here....

Soooo, that's about all I have for now. Going to go enjoy some quiet time since I know it won't last!! :~)

Busy and social day today! AND it was gorgeous outside! We went to Chuck and Jennifer's to drop off our taxes. We have to do a return visit to pick them up because Chuck was sick and couldn't hold Cammie. Cammie enjoyed her visit very much! After that we went to visit Mommom and Poppop. Of course they were very glad to see Cammie. She got some early Valentine's Day presents which she enjoyed opening and putting in her mouth! We had a very good day! When we got home we talked to Sharon, Ken and Becca for a little bit and then everyone went inside for dinner! Tomorrow morning I have to take Cammie to get her flu shot booster. Hopefully she won't be too upset after that! After getting five shots last time she should be able to take one like a champ! Hope everybody had a great weekend!!!!

Cammie and Pudge

Well, Cammie is officially on the move. She didn't crawl but she did scoot pretty far across the living room. She has been rolling around but tonight she was sitting up and she just slid her butt right around. It was funny. She's been pretty active today and took a couple of good naps. She's asleep now so I have no idea what tonight is going to be like. Joe and I got a bunch of stuff done around the house and even gave the dogs a bath. He took them for a walk afterwards to dry off and Max slipped off the leash. When I went out to look for him he was running from the next court up. Ugh!! Going to watch the Dr. Carson movie tonight!

I forgot to mention yesterday that all Winnie the Pooh related items of clothing are now banned from Cammie's wardrobe!! :o) There is something in the power of suggestion for sure. She had another code brown yesterday in her Pooh outfit. Joe was brave and helped me clean it up.

By the way, she is awake now and appears to be very well rested after a power nap. Hope it's not going to be a late night!!

Busy day today. Cammie stayed with Lynn so I could go and get my hair cut (and my eyebrows waxed- yikes) and go to the doctors. Then we went to see Ms. Robin so she could get her Cammie fix! Cammie was a little fussy but basically fine. We came home, had a bottle (not telling what was in mine hee hee) and now she is... wait for it... Yes taking a nap!! Please hold your applause. She also slept all night last night, IN HER OWN BED! Had a little trouble getting her to go to sleep but once she did, I only got up twice to give her back her binky and she was back out. I couldn't believe it myself. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Cammie's Elton John impersonation.....

Cammie is stylin' in her new shades. She seemed to like them! I finally started a facebook page so I could put pics on that and take some of the old ones off of here. You can only have so many in the blogger file and I'm about 3/4 of the way there. I got another photo album that I ordered and I tell you what that is the way to go. I use snapfish and they do a really nice job, it's a lot easier than scrapbooking plus it's a bound book and not just a photo album. I really like it. Anyway, as hard as this is to believe... Cammie is taking a nap. She and Joe are sacked out on the couch. I believe all the dogs are asleep as well. It figures!!!! I'm tired but not sleepy if that makes sense. Have a bunch of errands and a doctors appointment tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be exhausted after that. We are getting our taxes done this weekend. Hopefully we'll do good with our new little deduction. ha ha

Not much else is going on, just trying to stay warm!

I don't know why Cammie doesn't want to sleep. She is in the living room squealing and it sounds like she just tossed her bottle. We didn't do much today since I didn't feel great. We did go out in the dusting of snow to talk to Sharon and Becca.

I did read something interesting today that I wanted to share, I swear this is what the article said... Did you know that if you have a Wii fit and you DON'T use it that you won't get into shape. I actually had to think about that for a minute, I guess the same people who buy exercise tapes and don't use them or join gyms and don't go got a Wii fit and are upset that it doesn't magically morph you into shape. Are people really that stupid?

Anyway, not much else is going on, just trying to get my lively little girl to go to sleep!!!!

Sorry no pic today, I was just about to download some new ones and Miss Thing woke up AGAIN!!! and is full of herself, she is sitting on our bed squealing. UHHHH. We made our trip to Sams yesterday and Cammie enjoyed herself looking at all the stuff and people and smiling at everyone and being flirty as usual.

Today I had to have an endoscopy done so Cammie stayed with Lynn and was good for her. Lynn even got her to take a nap which I envy! I didn't feel too great this afternoon and now I'm just tired I think, it figures Cammie has her fourth or fifth wind.

It was funny when I went back to get prepped for my test the nurse made me take a pregnancy test and I had to laugh (and NO I am not pregnant) because I found out I was pregnant when I took a home test a few days before I was scheduled to have an endoscopy last year. So if the test had been positive today I believe the cure for infertility would be to schedule an endo! I guess you had to be there..... but be glad you weren't. That was my excitement for the week I guess.

It's been a loooooong day. It was really nice out today so Cammie and I hung out with the dogs outside for a while this afternoon. She's been fussy off and on, so we've spent a good bit of time playing and cuddling. We also watched far too many episodes of House. I keep waiting for Cammie to pull herself up and also to crawl. She was sitting on the floor playing and she has the idea but just can't get it together all the way. It's really cute. Tomorrow we are going to go to Sam's to stock up on some stuff, just our quarterly trip there. Not much else to report, hope everyone had a good weekend!!
