I'm up to something.....

Weird day today, started out really hot and humid and then some kick ass storms came through this afternoon. Very scary! Joe got home around noon after running Billy's truck back to his house and stopping at Home Depot for our paint. Neither of us were very motivated today. UGH. I think I'm either getting another sinus infection or I'm getting sick. I feel like crap right now. Cammie was fussy this evening but I think it's from her teeth. She did take two pretty good naps today. I joined her in the second one until the weather alert alarm went off. At least we got what we wished for! We complained about Direct TV going out every time there was a weather incident, now all the channels sound that loud alert and tell you what is going on. Thank you Atlantic Broadband! Joe made a yummy lasagna for dinner and then we've just kind of been hanging out since then. Maybe we'll get some stuff done tomorrow......

THURSDAY (I know... I was tired last night!)

Kristen took this picture at Busybodies Thursday morning. Some one is such a ham! Cammie had so much fun but it was so HOT in there. After we left we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and that was yummy as usual!! The groping waitress waited on us but she refrained from any inappropriate touching this time. After we got home Cammie took a nap (Yay!).

Alice and Meaghan came over and when Joe got home we went to dinner at the Jetty and then went to the carnival. We didn't stay that long, it was very hot and loud and there wasn't a whole lot for us to do. None of us had any interest in the rides and the kiddie rides I think Cammie was still too little for and they went way too fast. One little boy was hanging on for dear life. Two kids have already fallen off rides there so I'm not thrilled about them anyway. Alice did win a cake at the carnival! Lucky her! She left us some though.

Joe brought Billy's truck home last night with another load of wood so he left to take that back up to Billy's house and get the car. Then he is going to stop at Home Depot on the way home and... wait for it.... PICK UP THE PAINT COLOR we decided on for the basement! Can you believe it? I think it's called Rapture Blue. We held a vote last night with Alice and Meaghan.

After dinner and the carnival we finally got Cammie to fall asleep and I watched So You Think You Can Dance and was glad that my 4 favorite dancers made it to the finale! I'm not sure who I want to win. Hope everyone has a good day!

Another lazy hot day today. Joe took the truck to his executive board meeting so that he could go and get firewood from Billy's afterwards so we were kind of stuck at home. I could have always walked to the pool or the playground if I had been so motivated but it looked like it was going to storm off and on. But now I just sound like I'm making up excuses. So whatever... Cammie is becoming quite good at crawling up and down the steps now. She is very particular about it and it's really funny. It's been rumbling horrible thunder for a while now but only a little rain so I'm not sure what it going on, it looks terrible outside. Getting ready to watch So You Think You Can Dance. Really not much to say about today.

I'm not sure why the pics are so small, maybe because I am copying them off facebook. I haven't loaded the new camera stuff onto our computer yet. Lazy.... It was really HOT again today. I think I got spoiled by how nice it was in the beginning of July now it just seems unbearably hot and humid. We were going to meet Sharon and Becca at the community pool but Cammie napped through the time they were there. Doesn't it figure, then I was debating accidentally on purpose going to Olivia and Patrick's but it just seemed too hot to even walk over there. Lazy..... Oh well, there's always tomorrow! I did get some cleaning done today while Cammie took her marathon nap. (I could get used to that!)( the nap not the cleaning). Then we hung out and played, and Cassidy and her friend Marissa came over and played with Cammie for a while too. Kind of a laaaaaazy day for us. Cammie has had her bath and milk and I'm hoping she will fall asleep soon. She faked me out last night, she went to sleep around 7 and was up again at 8 and then didn't want to go back to sleep. We'll see how this evening goes. Going to watch the season finale of Deadliest Catch! Good night......

It was HOT today! Cammie and I went to the grocery store this morning and I was so pissed cause the check out lady sucks and I hate the way she bags but she kept bagging stuff as she scanned it. Well she did something to the milk so that it started leaking. I didn't realize it and just thought it was condensation. She put it in a bag and I put it on the front seat of the truck. By the time I got home it had run all over the seat and onto the floor in the back. I was so mad! I drove up to the car wash but it is closed on Mondays so I shampooed it myself out back. UGH. Cammie fell asleep at the car wash and I managed to get her in the house without waking her up which is a challenge in itself. She took a really good nap and then when she woke up we went over and took a dip in Patrick and Olivia's pool That was nice! Had healthy taco salads for dinner, Joe took the pups for a walk and we've just been chilling out. Cammie slept for about an hour from 7 to 8 so she is up again. Getting ready to watch the Big Bang Theory.

Whew, I need a weekend to recover from the weekend!!

Cammie was in true party animal form on Saturday. She only napped for about twenty minutes and then we went to the Brown's for a party. Cammie was raring to go! She got in the pool three or four times with Kristen, hung out with Ashley in the trampoline and even convinced Ashley's boyfriend Mark to let her in the trampoline with him! She played with Cassidy and her friends and generally got passed around to everyone!! Granny Franny and Pop Fisher were there, and the Martins and a bunch of other people! We hadn't seen Danny and Cindy Natoli in forever (Cammie loved hanging out with them) and Dan and Heather (don't want to spell their last name wrong). We loved their new Camaro and I do want to drive it! The Daly's were there and The Hardesty's (haven't seen them in forever either!) I know I'm forgetting some people but Julie got me drunk on jello shots so my memory is failing.... Good food, lots of fun and Chris insisted that it wasn't going to rain, and it didn't until later! :o) We were glad we could walk home!

So, needless to say, I didn't feel too well when I got up this morning but it passed and we got a bunch of stuff done today. We went to Home Depot and picked up yet four more paint samples for the basement. (sigh...) then to Best Buy to get a new camera. (Missy had one that we really liked at the party so we copied her, it's a Sony Cybershot) and then since BB was doing 18 months same as cash we got a Garmin GPS too. Every time we get in the car to go somewhere, Joe says we should have a GPS so now we do and we'll have to find something else to talk about. The woman on there gets on my nerves though. Especially when you go a different way! Now I think the only thing we need to replace is the vacuum, although I'm sure I will regret saying that... After that we went out to Donna and Bills to drop off some stuff they left here after Cammie's party, Cammie got to play with them and the dogs and Paul and Daniel. So she had a good time and then on the way home we stopped at Granny Franny and Pop Fisher's house to see them for a little bit. Cammie had a great time crawling all over there house like at Donna's! Fisher and Ms. Fran have a few steps up into their kitchen and Cammie must have crawled up and down them twenty times. It was funny. After that we were East Bound, traffic was really heavy going west.

Cammie also discovered how to crawl up and down our steps in the foyer so she thinks she is something else now. No (more) steps yet, we keep waiting and she keeps faking us out!

We had a great day today. Joe dropped the dogs off at Bev's to get fluffed and folded or whatever they do that makes them smell good and look pretty, hee hee. When he got home he said he wanted to go to Cracker Barrel so after some persuading I said OK and off we went. Cammie ate about three pancakes! YUM. We stopped at Mowbray Park on the way home so she could hopefully use up some energy. When we got home Alice was waiting for us, of course I freaked her out cause I sent her a text that said we would be home shortly and that the dogs were out, I meant out at the shop, she thought I meant out in the yard and when she pulled up the gate was open. YIKES! She figured it out that they were not home. Alice and Cammie and I went to Easton to go to Target and stopped at one of the produce stands on the way home to get some fruit and veggies. We all had a good dinner! Now Cammie is cleaned and ready for bed I hope! Going to party with the Brown's tomorrow night!

I'M BACK!!!

YAY, we have pictures!! And some funny stories... last night while Joe and I were eating dinner Cammie was playing with the pot lids in the drawer under the oven. ( I actually forgot I put stuff in there so it was kind of dusty ). Anyway, she took all the lids out and banged them on the floor and then she got quiet so we turned around and she had crawled into the drawer and was sitting there looking at us. It was so cute. Of course I got a picture to be shown later! Joe spent most of the evening after that dealing with computer stuff on the phone, why does everything have to be so complicated??

This morning Cammie and I went to Busybodies and she had lots of fun! There were three little boys there but she really didn't pay much attention to them except for the one who knocked her over with a giant ball. She cried until I took her over to the mirror and she saw that she was still pretty. sigh.... So she spent the hour crawling everywhere and up and down things and I spent the hour chasing after her but it's pretty safe so it was mostly just keeping her out of the way of the boys. Then we dropped off $ at Melissa's for her pup visit yesterday. This afternoon I had an appointment with Annalise the NP at pain management and she was glad to see Cammie. I think she would make me reschedule my appointment if I didn't bring her! This was my kind of appointment, 40 minutes including travel time and chatting and Annalise walked Cammie around the office and there was a patient who looked like Santa Clause ( I swear) and he played Cammie a song on the harmonica. I know it sounds like a freaky dream but it really happened.

So, anyway, Cammie is having her night time milk and hopefully she will fall asleep soon! I'm exhausted. I did get scheduled for nerve blocks in my back so I'm hopeful that will make me feel better. and NO to all you who keep asking, I'm NOT pregnant, just old and tired.

I promise I will make up for the lack of pics! Hopefully tomorrow!

I have a whole disc of party pics from Uncle Michael and new ones from my camera AND I'm trying to figure out how to get the ones of Cammie and Brady playing off of another website!! I"ll be busy!! Had a good day today, but it didn't start out that way! This morning I had my last appointment with the ortho about my shoulder. That was supposed to be at 10, at about 1145 he finally came in the room and I swear he was only in there about 90 seconds. Grrrr, I was eager to get out because I was supposed to meet Raina and Beth at Raina's grandmother's house at 12. I hadn't seen Beth in years prior to her coming to Cammie's party and Raina I haven't seen since she moved to California a million years ago. We went to Bill Batemens for lunch and that was yummy. Caught up on a bunch of stuff. I got in contact with them through facebook so that was kind of cool.

Made it home before traffic, Melissa the petsitter had come to visit the pups so they were happy. Joe got home not long after. Now it's dinner time...

Sorry still no pics yet on the new computer. Hopefully tomorrow I will have some so everyone can get their Cammie cutie fix! She slept late this morning!! I couldn't believe it. Then Kristen came over to stay with her while I went to Denton to do a home check for a lab. They had a good time although Cammie didn't win any points by pooping for Kristen. Oh well, shit happens. hee hee Sorry Kristen and thank you!!! Not much else today to report, the walking seems to be getting closer and closer! I expect any day now, or any moment. We had a good afternoon and hung out with Daddy and the puppies this evening. Going to chill out and try to get her to sleep now.

Whatever you do, do NOT use Mcaffee as your virus protection! We caught yet another virus that destroyed our hard drive. We went to Best Buy this morning and got a laptop but we also ordered a new hard drive for our pc. Such a mess, still can't figure out how to do the wireless internet on the laptop. It's tough when neither one of us is computer savvy beyond the basics. Once I have any problems it's all I can do not to chuck the whole mess out of the window. So Joe spent most of yesterday dealing with the whole mess. He goes back to work tomorrow.

On the Cammie front, we think she is ready to walk at any moment. She is doing well holding on to our fingers and then she stands there for a minute. She is the cutest!!!! Well I finally got her to sleep and Joe is laying in bed so I'm going to try to get there myself! Good night!

Nickelback freaking ROCKS!!

We left Friday afternoon around 1230 to go to Hershey. Alice stayed with Cammie and the beasts. We hit terrible traffic outside of Hershey so it took us forever to get there, we stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Shrewsbury to eat and then got to the hotel around 4 I guess. By the time we got to the parking lot (which really suck in PA, what's the deal) it was about 530 and the concert started at 6. It had rained hard during the day but by then had slowed to a drizzle and eventually the sun came out and it was a nice evening. Saving Abel played first and I only know one song by them and they did sing it but I could have done without them. Papa Roach was next and they kicked butt, very good. After that Hinder came on and again I only know one song by them but they were OK. We chose that set to go to the bathroom and the ladies rooms were so packed this other girl and I snuck into the men's room. After this we decided we were more comfortable standing at the back of the crowd as opposed to sitting on the bleachers again. They were killing my back. So Nickelback hit the stage about 9 and it was an awesome show. They were filming for a VH1 special so Chad was very chatty and funny with the crowd. He got the lead singer from Hinder up on stage and they jammed to AC/DC Highway to Hell, then he covered Friends in Low Places which was pretty cool too. They sounded great and put on a great show. Was over about 11 and it took forever to get out of the parking lot and then trying to find some place to grab a bite! YIKES. We finally got back to the room about 1 or so and Joe fell asleep instantly. We slept in til 9 and then went to Chocolate World and then headed to Sykesville to meet Alice and Mike and Cammie at the Sykesville Fun Day or whatever it was called. It was pretty nice. Cammie had had a fun evening Friday going to the outlets with Alice and Emily and then playing in the rain. Of course she went to sleep fine for Alice. The dogs gave her a fit though. Bailey wouldn't come upstairs and Pudge and Clyde paced the floor all night. UGH. At the Fun Day, they got Cammie a pony ride and tons of stuff to eat, she was in her glory!! When we met them she was so excited to see Daddy she could have cared less about Mommy! She rode around on Daddy's shoulders and we walked around a bit and then switched cars so we could take the truck to the Robinsons to get some more firewood. On our way there we drove past the Fishers and John was out in the yard with Gracie the Greyhound so we stopped in there for a bit, caught Granny Franny before she could go out to run errands! Cammie had a great time crawling around their house and walking holding on to whoever would hold her hands. She even went up and down the three steps they have from the family room to the kitchen. She made herself right at home! Too funny. We then went to Billy and Diane's to get a load of firewood and Cammie finally fell asleep when we left there. Alice had headed back to our house to switch cars but we missed her since we got stuck at the toll booth at the bridge. Emily also came over to let the dogs out a couple of times! So we had lots of help which we appreciate. It was hard being away from my Chunky Bunny for a whole night but she had a great time and didn't really seem to mind that we were gone. Alice knows the way to her heart with food and shopping. Going to hang out around the house tomorrow and try to get some stuff done, and we have some making up to do with the dogs! Hope everyone is having a good weekend and enjoying this beautiful weather!!!!

I'm cool in the pool!!!

VERY hot day today. Joe took his truck to work so he could pick up a load of firewood, was going to go to the pool with Sharon and Becca but I didn't feel like walking. I know that's terrible but my back and hips hurt, I think from walking in the sand yesterday. I probably could have made it to the pool but then would not have made it home. So we just stayed here and played with the puppies! Who really didn't want to go outside either. Oh well. My old friend (old as in she was my friend in middle school not old as in aged) Raina called and she is in town from San Fransisco, so we are going to try to get together next week. I hope it works out. I got to see Beth at Cammie's party and now Raina. Pretty cool!!! Of course I feel about a hundred since we haven't seen each other in about 25 years. Yikes!!!

Meaghan I hope your sunburn feels better!!

I am going to chill out and wait for Joe to get home and figure out what I need to do before we leave tomorrow afternoon to go to Hershey to see NICKELBACK! Love them!!!! So excited.

Beach Baby!!!

Meaghan got to our house about 9 and we were on the road by 905 and in OC by 1100! The weather was perfect and the beach wasn't too crowded. We parked in the inlet and just stayed down there but we did walk on the boardwalk a little bit. Mostly to go to the bathroom before we left since we had packed a lunch. I did not know that you are not allowed to change in the bathrooms and those br b*tch attendants are nazis about it. All I wanted to do was change my bathing suit top for my tank top and I got yelled at. I did it anyway. Cammie had fun playing in the waves, she even walked down to the water holding our hands and laughed when the waves rushed up. She was so cute!! She sat in the surf until she got knocked over but I think she didn't know what to think cause she just got splashed a little in the face and only cried for a minute. You would have thought someone elected her Mayor though when we were walking down the boardwalk. She was waving to all the people and smiling. She quite the social butterfly! It was rough coming home though, I had to stop and get a cup of coffee to stay awake and I HATE coffee. Soda just wasn't going to cut it. Cammie slept for a good while and I'm hoping she sleeps well tonight after all the sun, surf and fresh air. None of us slept well last night since Daddy wasn't home. Joe neglected to tell Pudge that he wasn't coming home and Pudge paced the hall all night.

Getting ready to relax and try to get the wild woman to sleep so I can watch SYTYCD! I'm going to need tomorrow to recover from the activity today I think!!!! Can't wait to do it again!

You caught me!!

Who is the cutest baby in the whole world????? I love her so much!!! and so does Joe of course! Cammie is such a Daddy's girl. Today was such a beautiful day. Nothing like July. We went to Busy Bodies for about half an hour this am and Cammie couldn't wait to get in the door. I had to pay at the counter and she saw all the stuff to play on and the other two little kids and she was ready to go. I put her down and she was off. The little boy there came over and gave her a hug it was so cute. She crawled all over the place and even crawled up three steps to get on the trampoline. The only thing she didn't want to do was go through the tunnel but it was kind of dark and the one she likes at the playground has holes in it to look out and is light. Then the best part is she took a nap, two naps actually. Pudge interrupted her first one but she took a good one this afternoon. We were going to meet Sharon and Becca at the pool but Cammie slept through it. Oh well we will go another day. Tomorrow we are going to the beach with Meaghan. That should be lots of fun!! Joe is working at the Van Warp concert at Merriweather so he's not sure if he is coming home afterwards or not. He said he may just stay at the firehouse depending on when he gets done. Last time I talked to him he said there was a lot of stuff going on. Mosh pits and crowd surfing and all! Well, the Chunkapotamus is sleeping and I'm beat so I'm going to get a snack (healthy of course) and read a magazine in bed and watch The Deadliest Catch. Good Night!

Heh, heh, heh

Another hot one today! Cammie and I had to take a load of trash from her party to the dump and then go to the grocery store. She was pretty good in the store, I only needed a few things. I did however notice that she gnawed through the bag of Pepridge Farm goldfish so I gave her some of those while we were cruising. Got what we needed and then got out of there. Did a little straightening up around the house and some laundry and played for a while. The Elmo doll that the Browns got for her scares me. She likes it but I rank it right up there with Yo Gabba Gabba. I know I'm going to have a nightmare about it.

It's ALL for ME!!!!

Saturday was a beautiful day for Cammie's party! Starting to warm up again but not too bad in the shade. We had so many people come, I'd list them all but I'm afraid I would forget some! Lots of family and good friends came to celebrate with us. Cammie had so much fun playing with Becca, Lily, Abby, Karley, Danny, Madison, Kathleen, and Landon. Gia was too small for her to play with! She also played with Kristen, Ashley and Cassidy! Everyone had a great time in the moon bounce (including Aunt Debby and Mommom who I heard was doing jello shots). Emily made the yummy jello! Meaghan made the most awesome Tinkerbell cakes! It's the Pits BBQ did all the food and it was so good! We would definitely recommend them. Also Tents4Rent did the tents and moon bounce and they were so nice! Cammie went the whole day without a nap and was a champ! I heard that she took a step or two but both Joe and I missed it. I have a ton of pics from Sharon and Michael that I will post on facebook. We were so happy that everyone seemed to have a good time and that so many people came to share Cammie's special day with us!! Thank you everyone!!!!

Joe went and picked the dogs up at the Country Club this morning and they were glad to get home although they were very good there. They are very tired though. This afternoon we all went to the Brown's to go swimming and for Cammie to jump on the trampoline with the girls. She didn't get to play much with Kristen cause she was getting ready to go to work but she swam with Ashley, Mark and Cassidy and they all jumped on the trampoline with her.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY CAMRYN!!!!!

The blog won't let me post a pic again. I will try again later. Cammie went to her one year check up today with Dr. K and basically she is perfect, as usual.... She weighed 23 lbs 6 1/2 oz and is 31 1/8 inches tall. She is in the 87% percentile for weight and the 97% for height!! They said she's going to be tall. I'm thinking Lady Terp Bball.... hmmmmm What? Oh anyway, the visit went fine although she wasn't too happy to get three shots, tb, varicella and something else I can't remember right now. I forgot my little book that they sign. UGH. Well it's Cammie's little book. Joe got the ceiling in the basement painted and it looks really good. If you are coming to the party though, do not look at the walls or the floor, just the ceiling. hee hee. We just did stuff around the house to get ready for tomorrow and still have a few things to do in the morning. Not sure how the dogs are going to feel about going to the country club since it's been so long. Clyde will probably be the most confused. The last time we took them there was when my cousin got married in Charlotte a few years ago. Yikes... They'll be fine for one night though. Not much else to report now except we had yet another beautiful day today so I'd like at least one more please!!! Looking forward to the big birthday bash tomorrow!! Can't wait to see everyone!

Do NOT Disturb......

Yes, here is another rare picture of a sleeping Cammie. Face down, butt up, too cute.... We had kind of a busy day today. In between me shrieking at the neighborhood children of course. This morning the tent, tables, chairs and moon bounce were delivered and everything was fine. The dogs were OK with the additional stuff in the yard, and let me tell you getting Pudge to approve a change is a real challenge. Anyway, after all that (plus a visit from Alice and Mike to drop off presents!), a nap (short) and lunch (of course!) I thought that I would run a couple of errands. Specifically going to get dog food and Acme to get some sodas and water for the party. Anyway, when I left there were some kids on the corner watching the house and the other day they had been riding their bikes up in our yard and down the hill in Sharon and Ken's. When I pulled out of the driveway they all rode down into the court, I had an odd feeling so I called Sharon and asked her if she was going to be home for a few minutes could she just keep an eye out on the moon bounce. I made it to Bev's to get the dog food and Sharon called and said she couldn't believe it but she went out and sat at her picnic table and could see the corner and heard them saying something about the moon bounce, next thing she knew two boys were running towards it, in our fenced yard while two older boys stood at the end of the driveway. Sharon told them no and when they realized she was out there they bolted (leaving the gate unlatched which would have really made me mad if the dogs got out). Sooo I decided to come home and deflate the mb then go to Acme, I also made a detour into the court when I came home and funnily enough the boys on bikes bolted as soon as they saw the truck. I went to the house they all went to and asked for the parents (Ashley can fill in my swear words, I was on the phone with her!), the one boy in the front yard said they weren't home. I told him to tell his friends to stay out of our yard. (I didn't call the kid any bad words but I admit I did use some). Which I do feel badly about but I'm pmsing and dieting and I think that would stand up in any court.... The moral of the story is the two kids who were in the yard were brought to the house to apologize. The one little boy that I don't know tried to say they knocked on the door and I wasn't home but I have to raise the bs flag on that one cause they watched me leave.

You'll be happy to know that I did get my errands done and made it home without anyone else incurring my wrath. Becca and Cammie got to bounce this evening and Joe got the grass cut. What a day......

This pic was from the Martin's 4th of July party. Cammie really liked the Corvette! I can't believe how nice it was today. This morning we picked up Alice and went to Kohls and Sams Club. Spent some time chatting with Sharon and Becca this afternoon and Cammie crawled around the yard for a bit. I was hoping it would wear her out but she is still going strong. Getting ready to watch So You Think You Can Dance. Maybe that will put her to sleep. It worked for me last week. And that's the show I like to watch!!

I want to bang on the drum all day!

Another gorgeous day today, does NOT feel like July at all. Crossing my fingers that the weather stays nice for Saturday!! Got up this morning very tired but got a lot done. Was quite proud of myself. Kristen and her friend Caylin (I hope I spelled it right so Kristen doesn't yell at me again) came over and watched Cammie for me for a couple of hours so I could go get a long overdue pedi and run a couple of errands. So Cammie was in her glory playing with the big girls. They said she did really good, only got fussy a couple of times but it was around her nap time but I knew she wouldn't go to sleep for them. We played in the yard with Joe and the dogs this evening and then after her bath we went for a short walk so hopefully she is worn out. I know I am and my back really hurts. Going to go to Sams tomorrow with Alice to get some things that we need and some things for the party. The countdown is on! I finally got batteries for this toy that we got Cammie a few weeks ago and it's pretty cool. When you push a button air blows these balls up and they pop all over the place and some roll back down into the toy. It's really cool and she was standing on her own playing with it. Got some pics but they won't be until the next upload.

Busy day today! Joe got a ton of painting done in the basement. He got primer all on the ceiling and the walls and the foyer. Looks better already. We got a couple more sample colors at Home Depot this evening so hopefully one of those will be the one. It will be so nice to have that project done. I got a lot of cleaning done today so I'm exhausted and my back is killing me. UGH. Now I feel like we're on the home stretch though. Cammie took a dip in her ghetto pool today and had lots of fun. Since we had to go across the bridge to HD we decided to treat ourselves to dinner at Red Robin. So yummy, and Cammie had a great time socializing with everyone who passed the table. She is so funny. Well I'm getting sleepy so Good Night all!

Up to something....

Not quite as nice of a day but it still didn't rain. Got a lot of cleaning done around the house. Still lots more before Cammie's party but it's doable. Ashley and I took Cammie to Mowbray Park this afternoon and had a good time. Cammie liked crawling through the tunnel and the slides and swinging in the swing. She was very happy that Ashley went with us. As soon as we got out of the truck she wanted Ashley to carry her. We finished off the crabs for dinner and have just been hanging out, playing with Cammie and playing Farm Town on Facebook which we are both addicted to now. It's so bad that the other morning when we had the windows open I could hear a rooster and my first thought was we don't have a rooster on our farm. Well we don't have a farm either. Silly!! Still trying to decide on a paint color for the basement. It's harder than I thought it would be. I think we should just put a bunch of different colors up and then let everyone vote on them at Cammie's party. This week is going to fly by!! This month is going to fly by too, we're going to Hershey to see Nickelback, the Beadenkopfs are having a pig roast and my high school class is having a picnic at Double Rock Park but I don't think I am going to make it to that since it is the day after Cammie's party. Fun Fun Fun!!! Hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend. Going to try to get the party girl to go to sleep!!!

I'm not sure what the heck is going on.....

Another beautiful day! Breezy, low humidity, windows open, AAAHHH. The dogs love it too, they get to come and go as they please. Joe did some primer painting this morning and I did some cleaning and then this afternoon Diane and Ben stopped by with another truckload of firewood for us which was awesome. They were on their way to her sister's who lives a little farther down 50. This evening we went to a cookout at the Martins and had a lot of fun. Lots of people there, Chris, Julie, Ashley and Kristen and Mark and I forget Kristen's bf's name. Sorry! Also Angel and Mike and Ms. Robin and Pop plus a bunch of other people. Cammie got passed around and had lots of fun with Ashley and Kristen. She jumped on the trampoline, or bounced rather, crawled around, played with Richie and Shelley's dachshunds. She kept hugging one when Kristen brought him over to her. It was so cute. Oh I almost forgot, we met Mike Faith at Cracker Barrel this morning for breakfast, so that was an awesome way to start the day. He was just getting off work in Kent County and we were just getting up so it all worked out! Cammie loves the pancakes there. and the hash brown casserole. All in all a very good day and we got lots done around the house too. It doesn't look like the basement will be finished by Cammie's party but it won't be long afterwards. I got two more samples of paint and Joe put them on the wall but neither of them really look right to us either. UGH. So the room will probably be multicolored and we'll let everyone vote on their favorite color! Happy Fourth of July! Stay safe!

Such a star!!

The day started early as usual... Joe got the attic fan wired up and working. Then I went to get my hair cut and highlighted. You know you are in trouble when the person who is going to cut your hair just says "Oh Honey..." Sooo, it's short once again to fix what the last person did to it at I won't say where but I will NOT go to the place by Kmart ever again. Great Clips. It's very blond but the people who have seen it so far said it looks good (Emily, Ashley and Kristen) so hopefully they aren't lying to me. Anyway, Emily came over today and we accidentally fell in the pool next door when Patrick and Olivia weren't home. With Cammie of course. I feel so terrible about it. Not really. After our trespassing swim Joe went and picked up a 1/2 bushel of crabs and we had burgers on the grill. YUM. Now my life would be complete if someone would bring me a blizzard. I finally got Cammie to sleep a little while ago (she neglected to take a nap this afternoon so I know she was tired) and right afterwards Ashley and Kristen stopped by to see her. I just can't wake her up. It's so hard to get her to sleep and I know she is worn out. Now Patrick just called to see if we were coming over for a drink and when I told him Joe was asleep he said we were worse than old people. Sad but true I guess.... Ah well, I'm sure we will make it up another time!! Hope everyone has a good weekend and a Happy and Safe 4th of July!!

I love Pudge!!

We were all over the place today! We started out the morning by going to Sykesville to pick up a load of firewood from Billy Robinson's house. I had posted a status on facebook that we were going up there and Mollie texted me to find out where we were going and it turns out she lives near by. Modern communication is a wonderful thing, isn't it? So anyway we had an impromptu play date with Cammie and Brady at the Robinson's while the men loaded Joe's truck and Diane took pics, I have to figure out how to save them so I can post them on fb and on here. Cammie and Brady had such a good time. They were hugging each other and playing, then they got on the trampoline with Joe. Diane got some great pics of them together!! So much fun and can't wait to have another play date! Billy and his son Ben followed us home with another truckload of wood. Traffic was just starting to get bad when we got home around noon. After that Alice came over to hang out with Cammie so Joe and I could go to Oxford for lunch. We went to Schooners which is awesome. Yummy crab cakes there too! and it's right on the water, although I think everything in Oxford is. We saw a great house for sale, it was a real bargain at 2 1/2 million dollars. On the way home we stopped at Target in Easton to pick up a few odds and ends. When we got home it seemed like Cammie and Alice had a good time. Before we left Clyde knocked her (Cammie) over and she bit her lip so she has a bit a fat lip. He's oblivious.... But they played and Alice put her in the baby pool, she said the dogs didn't like that too much, since it was their pool but I'm sure they got over it. Everyone was fed and seemed happy when we got home so a good time was had by all.

I hate it when people spell my name wrong and I think half the time I spell yours right and the other half wrong. So I'm sorry, I won't do it again!

I just did a somersault!

Joe had to go to an Executive Board meeting this morning and the roofers came to finish up. It was sooo loud. I don't now how he stood it for the past two days. Every so often I swear it sounded like either someone was coming through the ceiling or falling off the roof. It looks so awesome though! The old roof was in pretty bad shape. Rotten plywood, shoddy work... Now it's all good and we have a new attic fan, Joe said that will help keep the house cooler. Cammie actually managed to take a nap through all of the commotion when they were working over her room. Yikes! I tried cleaning today but everything I did, she undid right after. I want to know why when there were clothes in her bottom dresser drawer she insisted on pulling them all out, and now I moved them and put toys in there, she could care less. UGH. She has been standing on her own more and more and for longer and longer. I keep waiting for her to take a step. This evening we went over and got in the pool with Olivia and Eva which was really refreshing. I was hot and miserable and I wanted to do something with Cammie to hopefully wear her out. We are getting up early tomorrow and going to run some errands and then Alice is coming over to hang out with Cammie so we can go to lunch. Should be lots of fun. Cammie is sleeping right now, she was exhausted so hopefully she will stay that way. I want to watch So You Think You Can Dance and hopefully I can stay up for the whole thing. Joe is working on the basement. It's always something....
