I promise I will download some new pics later or tomorrow! The past couple of days have been pretty miserable. Cammie is doing really well, she doesn't seem to have any problems from the accident. I called the pediatrician today and he said as long as she was doing OK we didn't need to bring her in but to call if we had any concerns. She has her 9 month check up coming up soon anyway. I'm so relieved she is OK though, I can't even express how much. I'm doing alright I guess as long as I take the meds they gave me in the ER. My lower back hurts, as does my neck. I can hardly turn it at all plus my knee and ankle and shoulder. The whole insurance thing has been a royal pain too. Now we are wondering if the guy who hit us is insured. His tags were expired and when Joe talked to the company today (State Farm) they said they couldn't find him in their records, plus the girl was really rude to Joe and acted like we should know exactly what to do, like this happens regularly. I got in touch with the lawyer's office that I used for my work comp case and he is going to handle things for us which is a relief. I have an appointment with my regular doctor tomorrow so hopefully he can send me to some therapy or something.

On a happier note, Cammie found some more food that she likes! Joe made meatloaf last night for dinner and she scarfed it right up along with her fave mashed potatoes. We had leftovers of it tonight and she was just as happy to eat a pretty big portion of it again! Such a big girl! She was so not interested in playing with her toys today, she wanted to crawl up and down the hallway. Good for her, not so much for me.

I want to play!!!

Well Cammie and I were having a good day yesterday until the evening. We went out to Donna's to see her and the new puppy and Joe B was going to service my car for me. Which he did and it turned out to be a waste of time as was the full tank of gas I got before we left to go home. Prior to that, Donna and I had taken Cammie to Denny's for lunch and she had a great time being social with everyone she saw. We left and made it all the way to Ritchie Highway in Arnold when traffic stopped and I looked in the rearview mirror and realized that the guy in the van behind us wasn't going to stop. That quickly he slammed into us and somehow hit us twice. My seat broke and I hit the dash but my first concern was Cammie. When the seat broke it pushed her car seat to the side and she had been asleep but the impact and the bang woke her up and she was screaming. I was hysterical by this point, I was trying to calm her down but I didn't want to pick her up in case she was hurt, I was trying to call 911 and tell them where I was, my glasses got knocked off and I couldn't see the street signs. It was a mess. Luckily two guys that said they were volunteers stopped right away and the ambulance got there really quickly. I started freaking out again when they separated us but they kept telling me that Cammie was ok. They took us both to AAMC and Joe had gotten to the scene before the ambo left with Cammie so he got to see her. The ER was packed but they put us both in fast track and took me to xray after they checked Cammie out and said she was ok. When I came back Alice, Meaghan and Rick had all gotten there and were with Joe and Cammie. We finally got discharged around 9pm and I just have spasms and pain everywhere and my left knee is bruised. Of course my back and neck are killing me but that's to be expected. I also must have jammed my left arm because my shoulder, elbow and wrist are really sore too. What a nightmare!! I am so glad Cammie is ok. Joe spent the morning dealing with the insurance company. My Mom and Dad came over today on their way home from Cambridge and we had a nice visit with them. I wasn't very good company though. Going to chill out now!!

Really into this book!!

GO TERPS!!!! Hopefully Morgan will do well also! The Villanova/ American game was really good, wasn't sure that V was going to pull it off and that would have really screwed up my picks!!

Anyway, kind of bleary day today, and not much going on... except...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!! hee hee Hope you guys had a good day in NYC.

Today was kind of rough, Cammie was all over the place. We had a lot of fun playing but now that she can crawl sometimes I have trouble keeping up with her! I don't get the whole nap boycott either, then she didn't want to fall asleep tonight. She is laying in our bed finally sacked out, I'll move her into her crib once I'm sure she is really out. It was funny today, we have one of those posters of Cal Ripken that says Perseverance on it and he is like waving his hand, when Cammie came into the office she was looking at it and then she started waving to him. I thought it was cute.

Cammie is Wii Fit!!

It was so nice out this afternoon. This morning it was really foggy going across the bridge but it cleared off. Cammie and I picked up Meaghan and we went to Walmart and Kohls. We tried to go see Alice but she was at lunch. Then we had lunch at ChikFilA. YUM. Cammie liked the chicken too. She really was too busy to eat since she was flirting with everyone around us and listening in on conversations (she's so nosy!!). On our way home after dropping Meaghan off we stopped to see Nanny Robin and Pop. They were glad to see Cammie who was a little fussy at first. She cheered up once she got to play with their little pug dog Rudy. Then we came home to free our beasts and spent some time in the yard with them. Cammie likes to watch them chase their toys and run around. When she was eating dinner I swear she said Mama but it may have been a combo of her eating noise and saying Baa Baa but I think it counts!! When she took an after dinner nap I spent some more time outside with the pups who were really glad to be outside. Everyone seemed to have a good day!

Cammie slept all night the last two nights in her OWN crib!! I couldn't believe it. I only got up a few times to give her the Binky. Today she didn't have such a great day, I think her teeth are bothering her and she just fell asleep so we'll see if she stays put. Tomorrow is supposed to be really nice and we are meeting Meaghan to go shopping for a bit. The dogs will be upset to go in the crates though. You just can't win! I wanted to mention too that through facebook I've gotten in touch with a couple of friends from middle school!! I'm sure my mom remembers Raina and Beth! Also a couple of friends from high school and sadly the one person that I stayed friends with a few years out of high school and then lost touch with- Anita!! So that's been pretty cool to see what everyone has been doing for the past XX years. I don't want to say how long it's been! Yikes!

Why is stuff on my head so amusing??

Another icky day weather wise. We went to Sam's this morning and stopped in at Walmart to see Alice. It's the first time we had been in that Walmart in Glen Burnie, that place is freaking crazy. It's huge and it was packed! I know it's a weekend and all but still, and people were nasty because we were just walking around looking for Alice. Yikes!! Sam's wasn't too crowded so that wasn't bad, we just needed a few things. Cammie scarfed up the free sample of yogurt. When we left they were selling Girl Scout cookies out front and I didn't have any cash. I need some Thin Mints!!!!! Not much else happening, just getting ready to watch the Amazing Race. Can't believe the Terps made it to the big dance!! I think for our personal wager I'm going to go with UNC though to win. I still haven't collected on my Superbowl win.

Must get to the phone....

Kind of a bleary day today but we had a good afternoon and evening. We went to have dinner at John and Amy Breznak's. They have a great house, it's gorgeous and two little kids so Cammie had playmates. We had a really good time. Cammie crawled around and played with their toys and just generally made herself at home. Both of us fell asleep on the way home, I'm assuming Joe stayed awake. The downside to that is now Miss Thing has her second, third, fourth or whatever wind and is ready to party. Hopefully she will wear herself out crawling up and down the hall. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

Too Cute For Words!!!!

I love this picture!!! Theresa bought her these princess pjs and they have a little tutu that goes with it but it's too big right now (about the only thing that is!). I just think she looks so freakin cute! She should have won that most beautiful baby contest on Regis and Kelly! (I may be a tad biased) I'm boycotting that show because she didn't even make it into the top 10. (Shhh, I never watched it anyway) Ok I think I'll step off of my soapbox....

Busy day today! Cammie stayed with Daddy so I could run a couple of errands and then Alice came and took her to go shopping and have dinner with Meaghan! They all went to Arundel Mills and had a great time. They said Cammie only cried when she got tired and she slept all the way home from Meaghan's house. Joe and I had gone to an eye doctor appointment and then to Easton so Alice beat us back to the house. When she let the beasts out they let her know they wanted dinner so she had to feed them too! (That's always an exciting challenge) We went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner and one of Joe's friend's daughter was a hostess there. We hadn't seen her in years and she was so grown up, it made me feel so old!!!

Maryland beat Wake Forest!!! Yay!!

Oh and for those keeping track, it's 9:30 and Cammie is wide awake and still going strong......

Rearranging her room

Today was absolutely uneventful. I had no motivation what so ever. and a headache that wouldn't quit this morning. Joe went to a meeting all day and got home the usual time. I had to rearrange some things in Cammie's room to keep her out of them, really just her books and movies that were on the shelf in the pic. I'm sure you can guess why. She likes her board books but she also likes to try to rip the pages out of the other books. Joe is off until Tuesday so we should have a good weekend. I didn't pay attention to what the weather was supposed to be like.

Got a couple of errands done this morning and then went across the bridge for a doctors appointment at the hospital. I took Cammie with me and she was a big hit in the office. Everyone who came in the door got a big smile and commented on how cute she was. (I KNOW!!) The girls at Dr. Dix's were happy to see her, especially Sonja. Cammie was very social and very well behaved! She let out a couple of squeals while we were waiting but it was funny. On the way home she waited until we got all the way to route 8 before she fell asleep. UGH! Of course she promptly woke up when we got home and went full steam. She played in the grass with Eva for a little bit and then played with her toys. After dinner and a bath, she finally crashed although I'm sure she'll be up again soon ready for the night shift.

I got spoiled by those nice days, today was quite a disappointment. Have a bunch of errands to run tomorrow so hopefully it will be nice, supposed to be in the 70's. I can handle that. I can't believe how good Cammie got at crawling and how fast it happened. When she pulled herself up on the coffee table today she lost her balance and fell over backwards, boy I heard about that. She yelled and cried until I showed her, her reflection in the door (we have that sealing stuff on it so it's kind of like a mirror) then she got all smiley and cute. She has been waving too, sometimes she will stick her arms out behind her and wave, not sure what that is about. Then today she also blew me a kiss, I don't think it was intentional but I'll take it!!

I'm so confused about all this social security disability thing! The lady called today and was asking all these questions about my work comp settlement, I finally asked her to call the lawyers office. I'm not exactly sure what she is looking for, I just want to start receiving my benefits!

Night Patrol

Cammie stayed up until about 11 last night having a great time! She was up around 7 this morning and didn't take a nap until after 1 but then she slept until 4:30!! Can you believe it? I couldn't. Debbie came over this morning and she played with Cammie while I took a shower and then we went up to the outlets and then to Ramshead for lunch. Cammie was quite the charmer to the waiter, she got a grilled cheese that she really enjoyed. We had a really nice time! Debbie and I made a pact to get together at least once a month since it's been a while since we've seen each other!

When Joe got home we took the pups for a short walk which they loved and then had dinner. It was really pretty out today!

Enjoying a good book

Another gorgeous day! I wish it was like this all the time. We spent a lot of time outside and went for a walk with the pups. We also went and got seeds to start for the garden.

Cammie is unstoppable now, she has the crawling thing down let me tell you! I put her in her room and about 2 minutes later went back to check on her and she was in the office (probably getting ready to check her facebook page). :o) She is very funny, she is also trying to use the wii fit. She keeps crawling over to it and getting on it. Not much else is going on, just getting ready to watch The Amazing Race. I can't believe we have the windows open now and last week we couldn't watch it because it was snowing and the satellite went out.

Silly Cammie!

Well it's 9pm and Cammie is going strong. She has power napped a couple of times today so she is up for anything I guess. Today was absolutely gorgeous outside, it was about 70 degrees, we had all the windows in the house opened up and the dogs were loving the nice day. This morning we met Theresa, Mary and Zack at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I shared my pancakes with Cammie and she loved them!! I also gave her some of the hash brown casserole and she liked that, she didn't get much of it cause that is my favorite! More on that later. Then Zack went back to the house with Joe and Cammie while Theresa, Mary and I went to see if Carters had anything cute. :o) I found a thing or two that I liked. Joe rode out to try and cut firewood with Daniel but it was too wet for them to get to where they needed to go so he came home and took the beasts for a walk. (except for Max, he prefers to stay at home). Cammie took a brief nap and then we went out in the yard to talk to Sharon and Becca.

So back to the Cracker Barrel... I love the food by the way and am very happy that one opened up so close to the house. I do have a big butt, I mean but, I've only been there 3 times and each time it took the food forever to come out and the waitresses are, well the best word I can think of is odd. The first one that we had and I only remember this because she acts like I'm her long lost friend when I have been in there and insists that we know each other. Today the girl was very tan and very strange, nice but I found her odd. So that's my thing, I think the food takes too long to come out and the waitresses are "different".

Busy, busy, busy! I swear, Cammie wears me out! I don't know how Sharon got her to take a nap yesterday, she didn't sleep more than about 15 minutes twice for me today. She crawled across the living room and all around her bedroom. She's really very funny and fun to play with. I can't wait to start coloring! :o) It was really nice out today but the yard is such a wet mess that the dogs really couldn't play much. Joe took Pudge, Bailey and Clyde for a walk when he got home from work. Pudge was in a mood all day, he wouldn't come upstairs, he just sat in the recliner all day in the basement. Not sure what is up with that. I guess he just didn't want to be bothered with the rest of us! Hope everyone has good plans for the weekend!
