Watch out world, here I come!!!!

Cammie had another sleep protest last night. When I finally got back in bed with us she kicked me for the rest of the night. Then she boycotted a nap this morning when I know she was tired. Alice and Meaghan came over and we went to lunch at Cracker Barrel (YUM), the loud waitress who waited on us when we went with Mary and Theresa was our waitress today and the touchy feely one who gropes me was there but she didn't recognize me today, I'm glad I wore my glasses. Cammie entertained everyone around us and had mac and cheese, some chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, and baked apples. Oh and bread of course. Washed down with some iced tea because being the bad mom that I am, I forgot to bring a bottle. Ooops. Just gave her tea through a straw like a little bird. It's very cute. We went up to the outlets after that and she kept pulling her socks off and throwing them (Cammie not Alice). It was cooler out today but still nice. Cammie slept briefly on the way home and then woke up coming into the house and it took a while to get her back to sleep and she is still sleeping so I'm sure she will be ready to party right when I am ready to go to bed. (Right after Survivor if I make it that long). The stupid guy from Animal Control called this morning and got me all upset saying that we could come pick up Max, his quarantine was over then he said oh you gave him up... While I was gone he called back and left the same message!!! I got Alice to call him back for me, I couldn't handle it. Dumbass.... It's been hard enough and I knew it was ten days, didn't need a double reminder of it. Going to try to sneak in a nap while I can!!!

Just Clyde popping in to say Hellooo. He's so special... Not a very eventful day today except Cammie boycotted all naps and did her best to eat us out of house and home! She even likes cottage cheese. EW. I got those little fruit cottage cheese mixes and she scarfed it right up. I thought I might give it a try until I opened it and remembered why I don't like cottage cheese. We had a busy day crawling up and down the hall and playing. It was kind of dreary out. She's getting sleepy now so I'm hoping she'll go down for the count but I'm not counting on it. There's no such thing as a routine in our house!!! (Except that the dogs eat dinner at 5 sharp, just ask Pudge!! Breakfast time may vary but dinner is at 5.)

Beach Bum

Another hot one today. The pollen is killing me, we had to keep the ac in the house. Had an appointment today with Dr. Sprouse to check out my shoulder and he gave me a cortisone injection which I did not really appreciate. I don't think I will ever have another. I've had them in my back and hips but this was terrible. Once the lidocaine wore off it started hurting again. UGH. Cammie slept in her own bed last night, all night until 630 this morning when she was ready for her breakfast. I was very pleased with her. I think though she may have been the right temperature, she's hot blooded like Joe and I put her in a tee shirt and diaper and no blanket. Just did the same thing for tonight so we'll see if I was right or not. She was also happy today to not have any shoes or even socks on!! It was funny this afternoon, she was playing in the living room and she picked up my cell phone which has a touch screen but it locks and you have to touch it in just the right spot to unlock it, well anyway I took my phone away from her because I saw that there was a text from Joe on and it and I heard someone going... Hello?? Hello?? I was very confused and so was Alice, she said UH you called me and I really didn't Cammie did. So I'm not sure if she was calling to chat or complain or what... So watch your phones you may get a call from our girl!! :o)

Ready to play a round of golf anyone??

Went to swimming this morning and Cammie and Cole (the little boy in the class with her) were so cute!! Cammie went to hug him again he tried to give her a smooch. It was funny! They had such a good time and she was exhausted afterwards. She took a great nap and then we went grocery shopping with Joe. Did some stuff around the house and ran some errands and back to work he goes tomorrow. :o( Had to turn the ac on last night, it got to like 97 degrees and there is no sleeping through that. Not much else going on.

This is from Cammie's first swimming session two weeks ago so she had a little bit of a runny nose! Still very cute! Max is laying behind her. :o( I do miss him so much, it makes my heart hurt. But on to happier things, we had a great weekend and Joe is off tomorrow so our weekend will continue! Saturday morning Cammie and I went swimming and there were four other babies in the class! She had so much fun playing with all of them. After that, Alice and Emily came over and we had lunch and went to the playground at Mowbray Park. Cammie was a little unsure about some of the activities but went along with everything and had lots of fun, pics will show up on later entries and they are on facebook now. That evening we went to Easton to check out some furniture at Ashley Furniture and then to Lowes.

Today was another beautiful day but hot for sure. We finally had to turn the AC on. We went out to Donna and Bill's so that Paul could service Joe's truck for him and we had lunch/early dinner there. Cammie got to play with Sable and they both took a good afternoon nap. When we got home our pack was happy after two visits from Melissa the petsitter, we hung out outside with them (it was cooler too) until the Amazing Race came on and I finally got Cammie to sleep. We are going to swimming class in the morning and then lots more stuff to do around the house and if we don't go grocery shopping soon we might starve!!

What a gorgeous day today! I went to physical therapy early this morning and it actually went well. He worked on my neck and got rid of the headache that I had, that's what I want!! Cammie had a nap boycott day so she spent some time out in the yard with us. Joe finished the area under the tree between our house and Ken and Sharon's and it looks really nice. Unfortunately we have a bunch more to do and he gets to do the hard work. I hate it because I like doing yard stuff and I used to like helping him do stuff like split wood and all but I can't do it with my back anymore. Anyway, got lots of stuff planned around the house to do tomorrow too, it never ends but I'm just so happy we can open the doors and windows and let the fresh air in! It's so nice! Cammie was so funny this evening, we went to bed to watch TV around 9 I guess since she tends to fall asleep easier when we put her in bed with us, well someone must have snuck her some mountain dew or something. She was bouncing off the bed, climbing all over us and laughing. Usually she might do that for a couple of minutes and then crash but tonight..... whew!! She just fell asleep and I left her in our bed to come in the office for a few minutes so I can make sure she is out before I put her in her crib.

I also replanted all my peat pots with flowers today since none of them had started growing yet. Not sure what is up with that. The only thing I had run out of were sunflower seeds. I'll have to get some more of them, we had some sunflowers last year that Sharon had given us and they were so pretty and they attracted the prettiest bird I think I have ever seen.

Hope everyone has lots of plans for outside this weekend! Cammie and I are going to Mommy and Me swimming in the morning. YAY! I think I am going to sign her up for it next month too. She really likes it.

Cute as a bunny!!

Today was the best day out of the last few. Still missing Max and it didn't help when a reminder card came from the vet for his check up that's due next month. Cammie and I went to story time with Sharon and Becca and then for a walk on the trail. During our walk we had 3 snake encounters (1 snake we saw twice). Sharon and I both share the same fear of snakes so it wasn't pretty, we think they were rattleboapythoncondas or something along those lines. The first one Sharon bravely fought (shooed) off the trail, the second one I tried to do the same and it put up a fight and didn't want to move and when it did it went the opposite direction I expected and scared the you know what out of me. Once I finished shrieking like a little girl and climbed down off of Sharon's shoulders we continued our snake watch/walk. The first snake was once again lying across the trail and I was carrying Cammie because sadly I scared her when I was screaming so Sharon pushed her stroller up to shoo the snake away. Since we were the only witnesses to these encounters I feel I must tell you that each snake was at least 8 feet long with huge teeth and they all hissed at us. We were so brave. Ooooh and we saw a bunny!!! :o)

It was a pretty day today so we spent some time hanging with the pups in the yard which they enjoy. For dinner we went to Sado with Patrick, Olivia, and Eva. It was really yummy and we had a good time. Joe tried some of Olivia's sea urchin (brave of him I thought) and I tried sake, which I did not like.

Joe is off until Tuesday so I am very much looking forward to a nice weekend and pretty weather, if the weather people are correct. We still have a bunch of stuff to do outside and we want to get the garden area ready. I'm disappointed in my seeds, I'm still going to have to buy some plants I think.

OK, why am I the ass in the picture?? ha ha Another rough day today, just the little things like getting four biscuits out when I went to crate the dogs or seeing Max's medicine made me tear up. I know it will just take time to get over it and Joe and I always laugh about when they say on the news like after an accident or a fire, "It could have been worse...." Well just about anything could have been worse and this incident was absolutely in that category but I keep trying to think if I did anything that day to upset Max but I need to stop thinking like that.

Cammie went to hang out with Ashley and Kristen this afternoon so I could go to physical therapy early. I tried to sneak out while she was playing but they said she did cry quite a bit. I know it's the whole separation thing but she was also due for a nap which didn't help matters any. They were good sports about it, thank goodness! This guy came from the insurance company to do our "physical" for the new life insurance policies that we are getting. He was the cutest little old man, I swear he was 104 years old, used to be a doctor in the Frederick Jail. Everything went smoothly, I figured my blood pressure would be through the roof from all the stress but it was fine. We both had to pee in a cup and get some blood drawn and that was pretty much it.

Looking forward to this weekend, it should be so nice! I may go ahead and put the ark away!

I'm OK, I swear!!!!!

Today was rough. I know we did the right thing in getting Max out of the house but I just feel like I let him down too. But there's no way he could stay here after that. It was just weird waking up this morning without him looking at me and nosing me and losing my "shadow". OK, got to stop before I start to cry again.

Anyway, I didn't get to mention that Cammie loved her second swimming session on Monday. There was an 8 month old little boy who was just as chunky and happy as Cammie in the class and they just had a blast then Cammie gave him a big hug before we left, it was so cute. Today we didn't do much, I know I wasted the pretty day then a big storm just came through. Tomorrow night someone from our new life insurance is coming to check us out and I guess make sure we aren't about to croak in the next few days. Should be fun......

Thanks to everyone for all of your support with the Cammie/Max incident. She really is fine and was fine around the other dogs today so hopefully she won't remember it. I wish I could say the same thing! :o( Joe said he won't ever be able to forget seeing her face in Max's mouth, I'm glad I missed that but I feel bad he had to witness it. Too much drama......

What a horrible evening... Joe was on the phone with his long lost friend Pat and Cammie crawled over to the coffee table, I was in the office. She was crawling past Max and all of the sudden he growled and grabbed her face, she wasn't doing anything towards him or trying to pet him which he had allowed. Cammie is fine, just had some red marks on her face but all went away except one between her eyes. Joe got Max out in the yard and I called Animal Control to come and get him. I finally got through to someone from Lab Rescue and he was really supportive and said we did the right thing. I just feel sick about the whole thing, I am so glad Cammie is OK but Max was still my baby too. I feel like he needed me since he had such a rough start in life, it was comforting to know he was always by my side. I am so mad about what he did but it's breaking my heart to know he's gone. We tried so hard to make him feel loved and secure and to try to make up for all the abuse he took as a puppy. I just can't believe he did what he did.

Today wasn't as nice as the last two but it wasn't too bad! Got a little yardwork done this am and then some stuff done inside. Cammie and I have our swimming session tomorrow morning so I'm looking forward to that. Pretty uneventful day today, The Amazing Race was good! Go Margie and Luke!!!

Also Lab Rescue just got a huge rescue of like 54 labs of all ages from puppy up from a bad breeder in Virginia (I don't think Michael Vick had anything to do with this...) but anyway, if you know of anyone who is looking for a lab or wants to help out I know they need lots of help with all aspects, volunteering, donations etc...... They are having a special adoption day next weekend I believe, the website is www.lab-rescue.org and they are on facebook, I have the link on my page but they are The Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac. I'm ready for my pony Daddy!!

Another gorgeous day today. Cammie and I went to Mommy and Me swimming at Waters Edge this morning and she did so well! She was really into it, no problem when we got in the pool and as soon as we got in the water she was kicking her legs and splashing around. She wasn't bothered by getting water in her face and she even stuck her face right in the water. It was so cute. There was only one other little boy in the session with us. The best part really was when we got home she had a snack and then a TWO HOUR nap!!! I know!!!!! We did some work in the yard and then this afternoon we went to Terrapin with Sharon, Ken and Becca. We took the dogs with us and that was OK except that there were a lot of people and a lot of other dogs so ours were a little unruly at times. Pudge and Bailey got to go swimming which was fun for them and then we went back home and they all got a bath. Got some house cleaning to do tomorrow since that darn maid still hasn't shown up. Gonna have to fire her!!

I went to the Zoo today!!!

What a fun day!! It was so nice out and Cammie had her first trip to the Baltimore Zoo or the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, whatever it is called! We met Alice, Donna, Meaghan and Emily and went down with them (only getting slightly lost on the way). Then Mom and Dad caught up with us while we were in the petting zoo, or the Infection Section as I like to refer to it. Cammie was really into seeing things and touching whatever she could, including little boys. What's up with that?? Got lots of great pics, check out facebook for all of them! We all had so much fun and it was a great day to be outside and to soak up some sunshine after all that rain!

Last night we spent the evening celebrating Uncle Gary's birfday. We had a pizzapalooza party sponsored by Michael at Milanos and it was lots of fun. Cammie finally got to meet her future husband, Amy Vicker's son Timothy. If he wasn't too freaked out by her trying to maul him. hee hee We had lots of fun with the family, missed Jessica though! :o( Mom and Dad were there, Mommom and Poppop, Deb and John and of course Gary and Michael (and Amy!!). Lots of fun too. Of course coming home sucked, two way traffic in the tunnel and on the bridge. UGH! I think the tunnel is worse though.

Supposed to be nice out tomorrow, Cammie and I are supposed to go make up our missed swimming class so hopefully that will work out well. Hope everyone has a good day! If you had to work today you sure missed out on a pretty day. SORRY!!! ;o)

Well we have started on our ark today, the animals all lining up in pairs kind of gave us a hint.... I asked Joe if we could list our house as waterfront property now since the backyard is about as deep as the bay. I can't wait to get out of the house with Cammie, I didn't want to take her out in the rain since she has been not feeling well. We did some finger painting today which I'm sure showcases her talent too! She didn't seem to quite be sure of what we were trying to do but it's that stuff that only shows up on the paper (Thank you Emily!!) so it's not so bad. Her Fisher Price Zoo that was on backorder since Christmas finally came on Monday so we have been playing with bits and pieces of that. The box it was delivered in and the box the toy came in are very exciting as well. Apparently packing peanuts make a tasty snack as well so I've wrestled a few out of Cammie's mouth (she can really bite!). She is also not quite loving the baby food dinners in the jars so I've had to be kind of creative with those. She likes the fruit and veggies and like the mac and cheese but the meals not so much. My girl can eat though!! She loves her food. Hopefully the monsoon will stop tonight, it may have already, I haven't looked outside lately it's been too depressing.

What a rainy gross day today. Joe had to go back to work. :o( So Cammie and I hung out. She stood on her own for a couple of seconds. She had pulled herself up on my lap and then stood up and let go! She's obviously gifted. hee hee We also played with some markers that Alice and Emily got her for Easter, she really liked that. I sent them a text pic of her artwork and tried to convince them that she had written her name but I don't think they believed me. Oh well.... Had physical therapy again with the falafel lady, I think I finally got my point across that there is something wrong with my shoulder so of course I'm sure I'll have someone different on Thursday when I go. UGH.

Just because we just finished watching The Biggest Loser I have to say that I no longer support Tara!! I'm sure she will read this and be very upset but I just want to say it was selfish of her to try to keep Lara on there! Just a small soapbox I had to get up on.

The other thing that is bothering me is that those evil people who hijack the boats are called pirates, whenever I think of pirates I think of Johnny Depp so they really need to call them terrorists or something else besides pirates. Not sure where that came from, I think I need to go to bed or someone needs to come take all the chocolate from me. I'm afraid to get on the wii fit because I haven't done it since the accident and I'm sure when I get back on it will have something smart to say and I'll chuck it out the window or something.

Our little Easter Bunny

We had a nice Easter! We went to Donna and Bill's and the whole crowd was there: Andrew, Paul, Daniel, Joe, Melissa, Alice, Mike, Emily, Michael and Donna. Lots of good food and Cammie really seemed to enjoy herself. She was fussy off and on but she had been coughing a lot the night before so I wasn't sure if she was getting another cold or if it is her teeth coming in. She also didn't want to take a nap for fear of missing something!! I finally got her to crash for about 1/2 an hour. We had a lot of fun however that came to a screeching halt when we got home. Cammie slept all the way home which we expected and she watched the Amazing Race with us (I so think the midget stunt men should have gotten eliminated!! They don't deserve another chance!!). After that the crying started and she was inconsolable. We ended up spending the night on the couch, her nose was running and I think she was having problems when she laid flat and I think she just generally didn't feel well. She chewed on one of those chilled teething rings and then drank some cold juice a couple of times which seemed to help. I was beat this morning though, Joe took her for a couple of hours so I could catch a nap. The disappointing thing though was we were supposed to go to our Mommy and Me swim class this morning but I didn't want to take her because I wasn't sure if she really is sick, so we didn't go. We'll make it up on Saturday so that will be OK. I did go to physical therapy and I didn't have the usual guy but this foreign lady who I swear said her name was Falafel (isn't that a food? I know they showed it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives...) anyway, English was not the primary language but she started out stretching my neck and shoulder and it felt really good, I was liking it UNTIL she made me do the stretches. That's what kills me!! She faked me out though. I go back to her tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. Meaghan and Rick came over for dinner tonight. Meaghan brought the best chocolate chip cookies EVER! I swear if I don't eat the whole plate tonight I should win something for my willpower. She made them exactly the way I like them. YUM!

She is just too kissable!!!!! Today started out as a rainy gross day and did improve however the yard is still a mess. It's a good thing Joe got all that work done yesterday!! hee hee (LOVE YOU!!!!) We got some cleaning done in the basement today so hopefully we can start on tearing that apart soon, there just isn't enough room in the upstairs for all of us to hang out. Got Cammie's Easter basket all ready for her for tomorrow morning! Melissa the petsitter stopped by with her substitute for tomorrow so she could meet our beasts. They all seemed to get along fine.

Lab Lovin' from Pudge!

Didn't mean to cut the top of Pudge's head off but this was one of those just caught by accident moments. Forgot to mention yesterday that Joe hung the little airplane swing that was a Becca hand me over and Cammie loves it!!! She laughs so hard when she swings in it!

Cammie had her 9 month check up today! She weighs 21 pounds 4 ounces and is 29 1/4 inches tall. Dr. K said she is in the 90th and 95th percentiles for both and for head size also. He said she was perfect and I asked if I could quote him on that!! She only had to get her third Hep B shot today so she did really well with that. He asked if she had any problems eating anything. I had to laugh, anyone that has eaten with us can vouch for her appetite. She goes back again on her birthday for her one year check up! I'm sure that will come too quickly. Oh, Dr. K also said her front top teeth are ready to pop so look out!!!

I feel so badly for Joe, I thought I was suggesting an easy yard project for him today and it ended up taking him most of the afternoon and I'm sure his back is killing him. It looks great though and we did get a bunch of stuff done since it didn't rain. I had to go to physical therapy this afternoon and I was not happy with the therapist again. I understand that I have to work my neck and shoulder but he is killing me!! UGH!

Hope everyone is ready for the Easter Bunny to come visit. I finally found the Tinkerbell movie, I saw it everywhere until I was ready to buy it and then I think everyone hid it from me! Have a great weekend.

Working the hat!!

Miss Cammie is just looking too cute for words!! We had kind of a busy day today. We went to Value City to look at some new furniture (I really hate Ritchie Highway now!!) and Petsmart and lunch. Then back home to free the beasts for a little bit. After that we had an appointment with a local Allstate agent to discuss changing our insurance. He was so nice and actually explained the policies for us and got us a better deal on everything. So buh bye State Farm. (Well in about a month). The coverage he got was so much better, lower deductibles, plus they credit you every six months 100 bucks if you don't have an accident (shut up, mine wasn't my fault!!) so you can actually raise your deductible. It was just so much nicer. Cammie was a big hit in the office too and she was so good because we were there like two hours! We came home, got Chinese for dinner (YUM New Canton!) because both of us forgot to get something out of the freezer and then watched Survivor. I have to take Cammie to Dr. K in the morning for her 9 month check up. Can you believe it???? I can't. It goes so fast!!

I'm ready to cook dinner!!

Yes we do clean off our pots and pans before we use them!! By the way what happened to spring? It was chilly again today, all my seedlings that were doing so well in the house are dying. UGH. Now I have to start over.

Today Meaghan came over and brought us some new stash (of home made Easter eggs that is). They are so addicting!! We went to the outlets for a little while and NO I did not go into Carters!! Can you believe it? I did buy Cammie a pink baseball cap at Old Navy but that's the only thing she got! She was very good and very social the whole time we walked around. We shared an Auntie Annie's pretzel and then we went to Cracker Barrel for lunch. The psycho waitress was there but luckily she didn't see (or grope) me. Our food came out really quickly this time too so they are off my list. Cammie and I shared a grilled bacon and cheese (I ate all the bacon), cole slaw and hash brown casserole (I think I am addicted to that stuff too!). So she was pretty happy. When Joe got home I went to Physical Therapy and I am NOT happy with the therapist. I thought my neck and shoulder hurt when I went in. YIKES!! He had me do all kinds of exercises, which I know is the point of PT but it's not boot camp for goodness sake! Cammie is asleep already but I'm not sure how long it will last, she cat napped in the car this afternoon for about five minutes twice so she may have crashed. I've given up trying to figure it out.

I want to watch Noggin!!!

OK, it's cold again, what happened to spring??? We had a good day today, stopped by to see Nanny Robin. Cammie fussed a little at first but was laughing and enjoying herself after a few minutes. Then we went to CVS for a few things and when we drove back by Ms. Robin's Angel and Nicole were outside so we popped in to say hi to them. Cammie was anxious to get home for a bottle and a nap so we only said hi and left! Joe got home shortly after that and I went to physical therapy. I just have one word to say about that. OUCH!! My shoulder and neck are so sore but it felt so good when the therapist was digging those knots out. I guess a better term would be hurt so good. I signed Cammie and myself up for Mommy and Me swimming sessions starting next Monday. Hopefully they will go well. The pool at Waters Edge is heated for therapy so I like that. It's only half an hour once a week for four weeks. Should be fun! Going to go try to recover from being manhandled at therapy.

Another weird weather day today. Lots of thunder this morning, rain and then sun! Congrats to the Orioles for kicking the Yankee's butts!! Can't wait to go to a game again this season. Also looks like UNC is playing some good bball, I've got them as the winners in my bracket so I've got my fingers crossed! Just remember a wise person once said, the way to win a basketball game is to get the ball in the basket. Maybe not a wise person but one of the announcers said it!

Cammie kept me on my toes today, we played a lot! We have to find some more toys for her. She really likes her books and will spend time looking at them but it's hard to find other things to keep her interest. I guess with her being brilliant and all it's tough to keep her occupied. hee hee

A little late for St Patty's Day!!

What a beautiful weekend! It was a little windy yesterday but today was great. Joe got a bunch of stuff done in the yard and I helped some. Cammie liked being outside and supervising. Pudge and Clyde made a break for freedom yesterday and today Bailey joined them. Joe got them all back but they scare me to death when they run out in the street, they have no fear of the road. Luckily they don't get out of the yard often because of the new (well not so new anymore) fence. Joe finally got in touch with Enterprise yesterday about our rental car and Lynn took him down to pick it up. They gave him a Chrysler Sebring convertible but he has to trade it in for something else tomorrow, so we got that issue taken care of. Now it's just a matter of physical therapy (ugh) and finding out what the heck the guy that hit us is up to. We have no idea how long the Journey will be in the shop.

Cammie spent some time playing with Eva today, they were so cute together! Olivia gave us the little seat with wheels that you scoot around in and Cammie had fun cruising around the driveway. Speaking of cruising, she is really doing that around stuff now, that started a couple of days ago. She goes up and down the couch and around the coffee table. It's so funny. She also made it up the step out back all by herself. Such a big girl!!! Hope everyone got to enjoy the nice weather this weekend, it seemed like our whole neighborhood was out working in their yards!

How can I get out of here??????

I think we had every type of weather today except for snow. It rained it's @$$ off for a while, just enough to make the yard look like an extension of the bay. UGH. Muddy yard= muddy dogs= muddy house. Bleahhh. Anyway, this afternoon turned out pretty nice, we had a guy come out to give us an estimate for a new roof using 100% recycled rubber shingles. We're trying to go green!! Then I went to physical therapy, when I got there the therapist asked how my right shoulder was and I said fine it felt great, she was like wow you just had your eval with (insert person's name I already forgot here) on Wednesday. I told her it was my left shoulder that I injured and she proceeded to tell me that (again with the name I forgot) got fired. Ahhh. Anyway, she worked me over pretty good after that. When I got home Cammie and Joe were napping on the couch. They looked so cute!!! Oh and I neglected to mention, Cammie slept all night in her own bed last night!!! When they woke up we went to Easton and had dinner at Applebees where Cammie entertained everyone she could. I told Joe she is either cut out to be a paramedic/firefighter because she can wake up and be alert at a moments notice or a cop because she needs to sit where she can see all the action in the room. Too funny. We then stopped in to see Joe's friend Henry for a minute and then hit Target. Cammie had a bit of a meltdown on the way so we stopped and got her some oragel, I'm pretty certain that her top teeth are coming in. She was fine in Target because there was lots to look at and tons of people to charm. She cried when we got back in the car and then just as quickly fell asleep and slept all the way home. I actually managed for the first time to get her in the house and into her crib without her waking up. I won't pat myself on the back yet (my shoulder hurts anyway!!) because it's only 1000 but we'll see how long it lasts. On that note I'm going to go try to chill out a bit. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Batten down the hatches, it's supposed to be a windy one tomorrow!!!

Mommy's little helper (sort of)

Another yucky day today, it wasn't too chilly but just overcast in general and foggy. Cammie was just full of herself all day. No interest in taking a nap at all. We had fun though, she really likes watching the dogs run around in the yard. Joe has off tomorrow so hopefully I can out of my house arrest!! We have someone coming to look at our roof after lunch and then I have physical therapy at 4, hopefully they can do something to loosen up my neck and shoulder. Cammie is actually asleep now although I'm sure I've jinxed myself by admitting that. I'm going to chill out for a bit until Survivor comes on.

What the heck happened to spring?? Today was another dreary damp day. UGH. I still feel so weird not having a vehicle. Joe did come home early so I could go to physical therapy, I hate the initial visit because they always make you do all the moving and stuff and you hurt worse afterwards. The therapist gave me some home stretches to do and I have to go three times a week for a month. Such fun. Still no word about the guy who hit us. Our agent finally personally called Joe today but had nothing really to report.

Cammie slept most of last night in her own bed, she woke up when Joe was getting ready for work. When he checked on her when he got up she was laying on her stomach with her butt up in the air, which I think is funny. Not much else going on...
