OK, I know it's been a while again and I'm a bad blogger. It's just been crazy and then all of a sudden it's like summer out and I keep losing track of the days!! I think anyone who has spent more than a few minutes in the company of our Wild Woman can appreciate that. I think she may be destined to be a fitness coach. Look out Jillian!!! So anyway, Happy Belated Easter. We went house hunting last
Friday and were lucky enough to find the house of our dreams that had been on the market for 500+ days. Our realtor kept saying what a great
position we were in with selling our house already etc. Our luck came to a screeching halt when the owner had a CASH offer. He really wanted us to get the house (we would have been neighbors) but his realtor bullied him into taking the cash offer. We tried all kinds of "schmoozing" and it did work but sadly money talks. So strike two and the hunt continues. We did find another house we liked in our marathon of looking that day and we are going to see it again this
Friday. It is newer and has been upgraded somewhat but the basement still hasn't been completely finished. I swear though if we get beat out for this house I am going to really go after someone.
Last Saturday we went to breakfast at Rams Head and Cammie saw the Easter Bunny. She was less than impressed I must say. She did OK when she sat next to him but she did not like sitting on his lap. Joe forgot to take off for Easter so he had to go to work. Cammie and I went to Meaghan and Rick's. We had a nice time and Cammie had lots of fun hunting for Easter eggs, she did really well!! Then she played bubbles with Aunt Alice and Emily and had lots of fun doing that. The Easter Bunny did leave her lots of presents there and she stole some of Rick's so it was a good day!!
Some other stuff has happened also but nothing really newsworthy. Just been trying to pack some and keep Cammie from unpacking.
Yesterday Joe and I took Cammie to the playground and then to see the animals by Rustico. She loved it especially when all of the sheep came running across the field to see her. They quickly lost interest when they realized we were food less. We had to drag her away from there (wonder how she will do at the zoo??) and we walked down to Peace of Cake and got eclairs. YUM.
Hope everyone is doing well!!
