Cammie stayed up late partying last night! Poor Joe is fighting a cold so he crashed amidst the noise but had to go back to work today. Cammie wore me out today and then Kristen and Donna came over to watch her while I went to the dentist. Ugh! He took my temporary bridge out and put the permanent one in. It was a lot more painful than I expected it to be and now that the Novocaine is wearing off my mouth hurts pretty bad. Cammie is singing me Happy Birthday and doing somersaults on the couch onto me so that is pretty distracting. Donna got her to take a nap by just making her get in bed and laying there. How come that doesn't work for me?? Now we are just hanging out with the beasts! Counting down the days til Disney!!

Wild Woman
I am worn out. I think Cammie has officially won! Sunday Joe got overtime so he was gone for 24 more long hours. Thank goodness I got a little break Saturday night when Daniel and Kristen took Cammie! We did go to Station 3 to see Joe for a bit. Cammie stayed up pretty late partying as usual and got up early this morning. I took her to gymnastics and she participated a little better. She did most of the beginning "dance" and stretched a couple of times. She even waited her turn most of the time but the teacher did make her sit down when she ran down the trampoline the wrong way and then crawled through the teacher's legs. Sigh.... We tried to fly the kite today but it wasn't quite windy enough. Found a pretty yummy recipe for left over turkey for dinner (not that we have a lot). Joe and I were hoping to have a soak this evening but he is asleep and Cammie is bouncing around next to me. Sigh again... We are really starting to get excited about going to Disney, well more excited. I go back to the dentist tomorrow for the last time (until my regular appointment again) and we have babysitters lined up in shifts. Joe has to go back to work and everyone else is either coming from or going to work so Kristen is going to come over first and then either Donna or Paul or possibly both will come over so she can go to work. Once again, it takes a village to raise a child!

Sorry Joe has my new pics of Cammie on the laptop

But anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had it at our house this year and it was lots of fun and we also had lots of help. The requirements set in order to be able to host were that the stuffing had to be made in the turkey, the gravy must be homemade and the cranberry sauce must jellied from a can. We agreed to those orders and hosted for the first time. In our opinion it was a success. We enjoyed ourselves and all of the food. Not a lot of dinner left over but lots of desserts left over. It was also a drama free holiday! Which is the best kind! On Black Friday Joe and I decided to go to Home Depot because they had an artificial Christmas tree on sale. It wasn't crowded there at all, we got our stuff and left! Then Joe dropped me off at Quest so I could get some blood drawn and he went to the bank and we were pretty much done our shopping and outing. When we got home I started getting out some Christmas stuff much to the delight of Cammie. She is going to be so much fun in Disney this year! She is LOVING the Christmas lights and she likes snowmen and she is really starting to know who Santa is, not sure if she knows he is the man behind the presents but there is still time for that! She had been falling asleep pretty well the past few nights but she fought me a little last night so we took a quick dip in the hot tub and it was by far the coldest night we have had. It was a race to get in and then a race to the house. I am very lucky that Joe takes off and puts the cover back on. I may start just jumping out the bedroom window right into it. We have found that we are missing the woodstove but the oil heat does ok. It's just not the same cozy feeling. I hope everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving Holiday and is finding lots to be thankful for!

Cammie wanted to look like a birthday cake!
I'm trying to keep the blog police off my back. I've been trying to get Cammie up by 0800 each morning to try to establish a sleep pattern. It has been working for the most part except for yesterday. Joe had to go right from work to the union meeting but he had to come home to get his calendar so I had gotten up around 7. I had lots of trouble sleeping (big shock) the night before so since Cammie was still asleep I figured I would lie down for a bit once the dogs were taken care of. The next thing I knew the phone was ringing and when I looked at the time it was 915. I woke Cammie up and we did a quick get ready so we could go to her gymnastics class. For some reason she does not like the beginning part where the teacher plays a little song to get them moving and then you (not me) do stretches then they start the activities. There were some older girls in there working on the balance beam and the bars and Cammie wanted to go with them so badly. They were really impressive. Today I had a doctors appointment and Joe took Cammie to the Bennett's to pick up our turkey. Joe helped Bruce move one of his cows and Cammie got to see tons of animals. She came home full of stories! This evening we started to watch Ratatouille (not sure if I spelled that right) and she fell asleep a little before 8 which was awesome! Right on the couch (just like her daddy). So we got to soak in the hot tub a bit early. The Thanksgiving preparations continue tomorrow!

Busy weekend!!
Not sure where all the time is going so quickly! This past week just flew by. Got a little shopping done, got things done around the house and of course spent quality time with the Chunkapotamus. She is getting even more chatty and she said her first full sentence to Joe. She is also a little bossy at times. Especially when she wants you to change her diaper. Apparently she is going to be a beach fan because she requests to go the beach on a pretty regular basis. Yesterday Alice and Emily came over and we all went to the fairgrounds to see the alpacas. They were SO cute and they make the sweetest noise. There was also a rabbit show going on so we looked at all the bunnies which were very cute too. They had giant rabbits there. This one lady walked out carrying one that was probably bigger than Bailey. So of course I have added two more things to my wanted list, I must have an alpaca and a giant rabbit. Today Joe had to work so Cammie and I picked up Lowanda and went to Jenn's house for a 31 and Tastefully Simple party. I love the 31 stuff, it's so cute. Cammie actually fell asleep around 845 without much of a fight so I have been enjoying some leisure time, however it's bed time now. Going to gymnastics in the morning! Two weeks to Disney!!!

Sorry No Picture
I have been under lots of pressure to keep the blog updated but it wouldn't let me upload a picture so I'll just bore you all with our details and you won't have a cute picture of Cammie to distract you. Saturday we got some stuff done around the house and we babysat Brady for a couple of hours. Then Mom and Dad came over and watched Cammie while Joe and I went to..... (wait for it....) THE GROCERY STORE!! To add to the excitement we stopped off at had a burger at Checkers because I was starving and we all know what a bad idea it is to go to the store hungry. When we got home we had yummy tacos for dinner and Cammie passed out at a little after 8 so Joe and I did get to enjoy a soak. Sunday we went to see the Browns and that was lots of fun. Cammie got to hang out with Ashy, Kristing, Cassie and Ms Jewie. She got to bounce and ride in the golf cart. Our old house still looks the same except there was a police car parked in the driveway. Cammie fell asleep on the way home which is what I knew would happen and then she stayed up til 12ish. She wasn't real happy when I woke her up at 8 on Monday morning but I really didn't want to get up either. We picked up Donna and went to gymnastics which was not nearly as fun when Her Highness is grouchy but she participated for the most part. After that we stopped at Goodwill which I had heard had some really good deals. I was really disappointed, most of the stuff was really gross although I did randomly find a pair of winter boots just like Cammie had last year but in a bigger size for $1.67 and a rain coat from the Disney store for $4.87. I doubt we'll go back there though. Lunch at ChikFilA was YUMMY. LOVE LOVE LOVE their vanilla milkshakes. Cammie fell asleep on the way home of course. We got up pretty early this morning and waited for Joe to come home from work. Then we went to my appointment at Pain Management, Joe dropped us off and went to go to Petsmart and Home Depot. I have to take Cammie with me or Anneliese will make me reschedule. We were in and out in fifteen minutes and then headed for the mall to go to Stride Rite. Cammie is now wearing a size 9 wide. We got her a new pair of tennis shoes to wear for Disney and then walked around a bit and then went to Red Robin for lunch. Just as we were finishing eating Alice, Mike and Meaghan came in. So that's about it. We are just hanging out waiting for Cammie to fall asleep, so far there doesn't seem to be any danger of that happening. We started to watch The Informant but vetoed that after the first five minutes was incredibly boring.

Bouncing
I figured I better update this before I start getting complaints again! The week just flew by! Monday we went to gymnastics and Cammie LOVED it. She learned how to do a somersault and she liked swinging on the rings and of course running around. After gymnastics I went to get the emissions testing done on the truck and when I pulled into the station I was SUPER embarrassed when the guy told me I had the wrong vehicle. Then when he pointed out that the make of the vehicle on the note said Dodge and I was driving a GMC I thought it was for the old Dodge truck. When I got home and was looking at the registration I happened to glance over at the Journey and realized that the tag number was for that and duh Dodge made the Journey. I've been a little slow lately.
The other day Cammie came up to me and she was all decked out in her jewels and tiara and waving her wand at me so I asked her if could kiss the princess and she told me to kiss her butt. Which of course I thought was hysterical and started laughing which made her laugh too. She is such a mess.
I took Cammie to her new pediatrician's office today and they are all really nice. I got some advice about her sleeping or lack thereof and she got a flu mist vaccine and a booster for another. We stopped at the firehouse to see Joe and T-Doggie (aka Tanner's dad) and Andy Kim and she showed off for everyone. Then this afternoon we met Brady and Mollie at the playground and had some fun there! Hopefully there was enough energy burnt that she will go to sleep soon. I guess we'll see! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Wheeeee!
After some gentle prodding by Alice (Ha!) I realized that I hadn't updated the blog in a while. So here we are. I guess to some everything up, Cammie has been playing with Morgan, playing at the playground, playing at Gracie and Philip's birthday party, playing at Timmy Dorsey's birthday party, playing at Summer's Farm, and playing at Aunt Donna's. I'm sure I missed a few places here and there also. Summer's Farm was awesome, we went there last Tuesday and it was lots of fun. Cammie really liked the animals, the slides and the jumping pillow. Saturday we went to Mullinix Farm but they only had a corn maze and pony rides so Cammie rode the pony and then her and Tanner played in the corn table and ran around a little straw maze for a while. Saturday evening we dropped her off at Donna's so we could go out to dinner for with the Fisher's at Bare Bones. It was so yummy, we all got crab cakes and no one had any shells at all. The food was good and the company was awesome! The only bad thing was that when Joe went to get Cammie he said Donna thought she was getting a cold and indeed she was. She wasn't feeling well yesterday and today she seems to be a bit better so hopefully it is passing by. We didn't take her trick or treating but I don't think she missed it. We also didn't get any trick or treaters but Ken said that at someone asked him where the jello shots were so some people at least missed us in Cloverfields. Poor Joe had a pretty boring actual birthday. It seems like fall is here to stay now so hopefully the weather won't be changing every day like it was. I can't believe it is November already, we'll be ready to go to Disney very soon! (well we are always ready but the trip date will be here quick!)
