Cammie and Tanner
Today Debbie and Nicole came over and they brought Blake and Kayden with them. Blake was so sweet and Kayden is such a cutie!! Cammie liked playing with them and showing off all of her things with them. I'm glad I finally got to see all of them, it's been way too long!! Joe is working today so Cammie and I are home hanging out with the beasts. No one wants to go outside because it is so hot.

Loving the cupcakes!!
Well the week got away from me again. Wednesday I took Cammie for her 2 year check up and she did great. She weighs 31 pounds and got two shots without crying. After the appointment we stopped in Bev's to get some dog food and Cammie got to see her buddies Trevor and Brendan for a little bit. They were all excited to see each other. Joe had a lunch meeting that day so we met back at the house, hung out a bit and then took Cammie to the Winfield Carnival with Timmy, Steph and Tanner. While we were there we hooked up with Daniel and Kristen and hung out with them too. Kristen took Cammie on a ride for us! The most impressive thing we saw though was watching Cammie climb up a rope ladder to go through the tunnel/slide/ball pit thing. She went right up it with no problems!!! Thursday Joe had to go to work so Cammie and I hung out at home since it was so hot, in the evening we went to do a home check for Lab Rescue. Yesterday morning Mollie dropped Brady off to play with Cammie while they went to settlement on their house. Cammie had fun playing with him, she was a little bossy at times but they played really well together. Joe had to take Pudge to the vet again for an xray and bloodwork, he may have bladder stones. No infection this time but something is going on. Then we went to Michael and Donna's for dinner which was yummy!! Joe is working in the yard today and I'm going to get some stuff done in the house and then run some errands later! Have a good weekend!!

The Birthday Girl!
Last week was just a busy time of getting everything ready for Cammie's party! Then Friday Alice came over and we cooked the meat for the party and went out to get something to eat and some ice cream. When I started getting ready for bed I started feeling nauseated. So when Joe got home from work Saturday morning he informed me that he had been sick all night and I could honestly tell him I had been too. Thank goodness Alice was there because she saved Cammie's party. I could hardly stand up and every time I smelled food or tried to drink something it sent me running to throw up. Joe took the dogs to camp and picked up the ice and fried chicken but he was feeling pretty rough too. We had lots of people come to Cammie's party and it was great to see everyone!! Oh and we also woke up to rain that morning but it only served to cool the day off so that was fine. We even opened up the house and people sat outside! Meaghan made an awesome farm cake for Cammie and that was really yummy, although I didn't eat it until the next day. Cammie got tons of new things to play with and made some new friends and hung out with some old ones! Thanks to everyone who helped (especially Alice) and thanks to everyone who came to celebrate her birthday and make the day great for all of us!!

It's freaking HOT!
Here is Cammie enjoying an early birthday present! She loves it and her water table and sprinkler ball. We've been busy restarting getting stuff done around the house. Thursday Alice, Meaghan and I took Cammie to Cunningham Falls and it was really nice! The water was warm and clear. Cammie loved running in and out of it and swimming around. After swimming we walked to the falls and I think Cammie screamed the whole way there and back. Alice carried her half the time and I carried her the other half. My back is still sore from that. Friday Uncle Gary came over supposedly to see the house but I think it was just to get some Cammie and Clyde time in! We had a great visit with him as always. Saturday morning I went grocery shopping, bleah and then Donna and I took Cammie to Target and somehow she morphed into demon spawn as soon as we got in the door. She was unbribeable with anything. It got a little better through the store but I don't think Donna is eager to go shopping with us again. Saturday night Granny Franny and Pop Pop Fisher came over for burgers on the grill and it was a really nice evening weather wise so we sat outside for a while and enjoyed the company and the conversation! Sunday Joe continued working on Cammie's room and then we went to Donna and Bills for a bbq. Cammie played in the kiddie pool with the dogs and didn't even want to take time out to eat. She did get stung by a wasp but she barely even cried. She screamed louder when I took her bathing suit off of her and put her in the shower. She got stung on the skin right between her thumb and first finger and it turned red and puffed up but by this morning you can't even see anything. Whew!! Today was just HOT, miserably make you want to move to Alaska hot. I'm wishing I had a secret bank account somewhere with enough money to get a pool!! Joe is putting the final coat of paint on Cammie's room right now and as soon as he finishes with the outlets and light covers it will be ready for her new bed to arrive. The countdown to her party has started and hysteria is mild as we are getting things done. We should be in a frenzy by Friday! Luckily Alice is coming over to settle us down! Hope everyone had a great weekend and a safe and happy Independence Day!!

Being Daddy's helper
I made it through my birthday without incident! Joe brought beautiful pink roses when he came home from work. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, Donna came over to watch Cammie so we could go to Martin's to grocery shop and that was a HUGE disappointment. We won't be going back there. I got to take a cuddly nap with Cammie, we got take out for dinner since neither of us felt like going out and then we rode up to Donna's to drop off her stuff that she forgot. We took Pudge with us and he was such a good boy!! The good boy did not continue through Saturday though. Joe left in the morning to go work OT at Merriweather and my Mom and Dad came over. I had fixed a huge pot of jambalaya and when we left to take Cammie out for a little while I covered it up and left it on the back of the stove. When we came home about an hour later the pot was upside down and empty in the corner. UGH. There wasn't anything in there that could make them sick but it did do something to their bellies and they all stink!! Poor Joe didn't get home until about 130 last night and then he had to go to work this morning. Cammie and I were going to go to a cookout at a friend's but I was afraid to leave the dogs for too long. Joe asked if we would come see him at work so we went there for a little bit and then came home to find that the dogs had eaten 2 blueberry muffins and 3 berger cookies. So I guess they are now officially counter surfers. I had those things in plastic containers and they gnawed right through them. They are driving me crazy!! Between not wanting to go outside because it is so hot and eating everything in sight, especially what was supposed to be dinner for 2 nights, and being full of stinky gas I'm ready to make them all outside dogs. Just kidding I only wrote that because Pudge is reading over my shoulder. Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend and is staying cool!!

Aw shucks.....
There she is, batting those baby blues! Getting so tan!!! Cammie's favorite place to be is OUTSIDE! We've been keeping busy too, found a playground to go to, it's a little big for her but she likes to run around on it. Joe has been doing some work in the yard a little at a time because it's so hot. He took Cammie for a ride around the yard on the tractor the other night and she loved it. Tuesday night we met the Fisher's at the Sykesville Carnival and had fun. Cammie got on so many rides, most all by herself!! She also got on the carousel with Pop Fisher and he enjoyed that. We were exhausted by the time we got home and we saw a bunch of people that we haven't seen in a long time. Cammie and I were walking to the mailbox and she loves to talk about the animals that she has seen so I asked her what she seen lately and she gave me the usual list, cow, horsie, piggie, goat, mama,..... bear........ Hmmmm, I had to look around for a minute. She is really into the farm life and the animals, it's so cute.
Last night we went over to Timmy and Steph's to get in the pool and eat dinner and head back to the carnival. Timmy's parents and his sister and her husband and daughter went too, so Cammie had lots of fun getting on the rides with Tanner and Morgan. She also enjoyed waving to her "people" when she passed us. Joe manned up and got on the ferris wheel with her and so did Timmy and Tanner. I'm glad I didn't have to get on it. It was another fun filled night and we finished it off with ice cream and funnel cake! (I have to admit that I forgot to take the camera though). Stay cool!!

YUM!!
As usual we've been busy! Last weekend and this week have gone by in a blur. Thursday Donna came over for lunch and we went to the grocery store, Joe has been working in the yard moving rocks and landscaping around the hot tub end of the deck. It looks really nice now that he got rid of the huge weeds that were growing and replaced the wood. Friday Alice came and picked up Cammie so Joe and I went to Westminster to go to Petsmart and Lowes and then ate dinner at 5 Guys. We had a great soak in the tub but we missed the Chunkapotamus!! Saturday Cammie went to to Chicken Festival in Delaware with Alice, Mike and Emily. (Pics are on facebook). Alice and Emily brought her home supposedly worn out and full of chicken but she was wound up and ended up outlasting us. Sunday we went to Troy Bennett's graduation party at the nicest house with the best pool!! Cammie and Joe spent the whole time in the pool except for about 5 minutes when we tried to get her to eat something. It was lots of fun! She fell asleep for about 15 minutes on the way home and then she went to bed at about 615 or so and slept all night. At some point she did crawl into bed with us but I barely remember it. Oh I did go to JC Penney's on Saturday morning to take advantage of a coupon that I had for 15% off and they had a doorbusters sale going on. So I got a bunch of stuff for all of us and spent 140 bucks and I saved 224.00!!! I couldn't believe it. That's my kind of shopping. Hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful Father's Day.

Someone has a lot to say!
Alice came over today and we took Cammie to the horse fair at the rescue place in New Windsor. It was small but Cammie got to feed a couple of horses and a mule. She didn't get to ride because the horses were on a "lunch break" but we walked around for a bit and then left and got some lunch and went to Baughers for some strawberries (and cherries). Cammie would have eaten the whole box of strawberries if I hadn't taken them away from her I think. I told her to save some for Daddy and she just kept eating them. She also scared Alice half to death too when she got on her bike on the porch and proceeded to ride it down the steps. Alice said she landed upright and then fell over into the grass. There were no tears and no screaming (from either of them) and all Cammie has is a small scrape on her elbow and on her cheek. Yikes! She is one tough cookie that's for sure. I'm going to need sedation though if she is going to start daredevil acts. It's quiet in the house now, Cammie and the beasts are all sleeping. Joe will be home in the morning and we are going to the breakfast at Lisbon. YUM!!!
Chatting on the phone already.....
It's been a pretty busy week and we got lots done!! Cammie spent Wednesday with Donna and then Alice came over and all 4 of us braved the rain and went to Frederick to go to the mall and our intent was to find an elusive Pargos that showed up online for Alice with hours and a menu and also showed up on the Garmin but was obviously non existent. So instead we went to Cracker Barrel!! You know I'm always up for that!!! Thursday night Joe, Cammie and I went over to the Rosier's for hairdo's and dinner. Ms Sue cut Joe's hair and also cut and highlighted mine. She is going to give Cammie a trim before her birthday! They fixed us dinner and Cammie ate more than everyone!! Last night Donna and Paul brought Lucy over to play with our bunch and they all got along great. Michael and Donna came over for dinner and brought pizza which Cammie loved!! We also made a great impression on our neighbors that we haven't met yet on the tree side of the house. They were having a birthday party outside while the septic guys showed up to clean out the septic tank. Wow..... Those guys did not wear gloves or goggles or anything. It was so gross! Joe also found that they want to shake your hand afterwards, so if you have a septic tank don't go outside when the guys are finishing up. Cammie is loving playing outside and having lots of fun. The house is coming together, there are several box free areas now. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Wheeeee!!!!!
Today is absolutely gorgeous!!! I was actually cold last night sleeping with the windows open! My little Chunkapotamus kept me warm though! We had a busy weekend! Saturday the fence was finally finished and we went to Ashley's birthday party (Happy 21st!!) for a little while. We didn't get to stay very long because I wasn't feeling well. We had a good time though and Cammie got in the pool with Cassidy for a while so you know she had fun! Sunday Joe had to work, Monday morning we ran some errands and then he cut the grass (yikes) and then went in for OT. Today he is at the Union Executive Board meeting so I am trying to get some organizing done in the office. It's coming along slowly. Yesterday when we let the dogs out in the yard, Bailey took off running and ran right through the space on the bottom of the fence. Didn't break it or anything but we couldn't believe it. She ran next door and then came back and expected to be picked up over the fence. She was very put out that Joe got her back through the space. She barely fit so I don't know how the heck she made it through at full speed. I think maybe she wanted to prove that she is losing weight and is tired of Cammie calling her a cow. Well back to work!!!

This pic is for Uncle Gary
We had a busy day today!! Up too early and then Joe came home from work and we met with the ADT guy. After that we headed to Frederick so Joe could look at some lawn equipment. (The fence is still not finished but today they used an auger, seems to me they would have been done if they had used it from the beginning but I'm not the pro). We also went to Target and kind of scoped out the area to see what there was. This evening we went to Gamber's Carnival with Tim, Steph and Tanner. Cammie LOVED getting on the rides and she did really well. Joe got her an armband for the rides and I'm glad he did because she was ready to keep riding!! Such a brave girl!!! Came home and got settled and then had a quick soak. Have a busy weekend coming up!!
