This is sooooo NOT amusing....

Another beautiful day!! Joe had to go across the bridge this morning but was home by lunch time. Olivia and Eva were in the pool and they invited us over so Cammie and I went, the big pool is still a little chilly for me. (I think I'm spoiled by the therapy pool where we go) Cammie and Eva got in the little inflatable pool that was really cool, it had a little slide and it sprayed water on them. They were both squealing and having a great time. Cammie wanted to go down the little slide and I was helping her until she slipped and went under the water. Of course everything happens when she is in arms reach but she rolled herself right over and sat up. It didn't even slow her down. She tried drinking some of the water too, by sticking her tongue right into it and by pouring it into a little cup. Ah well... After that and a snack she took a two hour nap. So I think I have found the no nap cure, water+full belly= long nap!! It's still so nice out, hopefully it will stay like this for a while but I doubt it. It seems to go- nice couple of days, rain, hot, rain, nice... Hope a good weekend was had by all!

What a beautiful day today!! We also had a great time at the Orioles game last night. There was a short rain delay and it rained the whole time we were walking from the parking lot to Camden Yards and then it stopped and a double rainbow came out. Neat! Chris and Cassidy were at the game but we didn't manage to run into them. The O's won which was nice and then there were fireworks after the game. We had lots of fun with Meaghan and Rick. Cammie stayed home with Alice and they seemed to have a good time as well. Unfortunately Cammie woke up at midnight when we got home and wouldn't go back to sleep. We got up at 630 this morning and went to Mommy and Me swimming. My Mom and Dad came to watch Cammie show off her swimming skills which was fun and then we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, which you know I love. After that we checked out a yard sale at the Kirby's and got some toys for Cammie. Joe gave the dogs a bath (which Pudge was very excited about) and we hung out enjoying the weather!! Had sushi and grilled steaks for dinner. YUMMY! Going to try to get some stuff done around the house tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Where's the fire??

Cammie finally fell asleep last night after two hours of SYTYCD and the 10 and 11 o'clock news. I dozed off several times but she went strong. She also stayed all night in her crib and I heard her wake up around 630 this morning but she was just playing so I left her alone and tried to catch a little more sleep. All of the sudden I was rudely awakened by a rooster crowing. Once again she reached the DVD player and turned on Old MacDonald Had a Farm right when the rooster went off. YIKES! Today we've just been hanging out getting stuff done here. Earlier it was also funny, I was putting laundry in the dryer and Cammie drove her fire engine into the laundry, jabbering away, went right up to the basket with the towels in it and proceeded to take out every towel and throw it on the floor. When she finished she did kind of a tuck and roll off the engine onto the towels on the floor and crawled back into the family room. Still jabbering away. Not sure what that was all about but it was pretty cute. We're waiting for Alice to get here so she can stay with Cammie while Joe and I go to the Orioles game with Meaghan and Rick. A terrible storm just went by but supposedly it is sunny on the other side of the bridge. I can still hear thunder rumbling but it's headed east. We are sitting in the all you can eat section of the ballpark. I did not know there was such a thing but what a good idea! We haven't been to a game in a long time and Joe is excited because a new player is debuting tonight. Should be fun! Hope everyone has a good night!

I KNOW THERE IS FOOD IN HERE!!!!

What a day! Joe picked up the Journey for the second time and it looks OK but they didn't do a very good job of cleaning it up, he showed me where you can see tape marks and stuff on it. Maybe that's as good as it gets. It just sucks because it really is a nice car and now it's basically ruined in my opinion. Plus when we got it we got a free year of satellite radio and it ended today so for the last two months we didn't get to use it. We like Blue Collar Radio. Anyway, not a very exciting day, talked to Sharon and Becca over the fence and then later talked to Olivia over the other side. When Joe got home after dinner we were playing with Cammie outside and she was riding her fire engine around and she got stuck in the flower bed and did a face plant right in the peat moss. Joe picked her up while we were trying not to laugh and she just looked at us with this VERY dirty face and was like what the heck just happened? She didn't cry though, she actually chuckled a little and then was very happy because she got to get back in the tub. (I had just given her one bath for the evening.) She didn't take a nap this afternoon so she crashed a little while ago but I'm sure she will be up again. Just hanging out now waiting for So You Think You Can Dance to come on... Such a glamorous life. Sigh.....

Our computer caught a virus yesterday and the Internet was down all day. Joe finally got it fixed this morning so we could resume contact with the outside world. I think I was going into withdraw yesterday and the sad part was I only really wanted to play mahjong. We skipped swimming this morning since Cammie had a fever and was stuffy. I think it is from her teeth. The fever went away with a couple of doses of Tylenol and she is raring to go now, and has been for a while. She is in the living room giving Daddy a run for his money. He shared some pudding with her and I think she wants MORE!! We ran a couple of errands today and hung out. I haven't been very motivated I admit. I did give Cammie her bath in the big tub tonight and she was very excited about it, she splashed around for a while but it didn't wear her out like I had hoped. Sigh... Going to turn the AC back on it's getting stuffy. Oh, we didn't get to go to the Zoo on Tuesday because it rained but we are planning another trip, so there is something to look forward to!

Joe was off again today. YAY! He got a bunch of stuff done off of his honey do list and I sort of did. I can finally feel Cammie's top teeth coming in. Of course all the more to bite you with. She has become very vocal lately and is definitely showing a spunky side to her. She does not like to be told no. She's so funny though. Hopefully it won't rain tomorrow because we are supposed to meet Christine and Mollie at the zoo in Rising Sun. Should be fun! I specifically requested a nice sunny day but you know how those meteorologists are (well all except Jim Cantore). Hope everyone had a good and safe weekend. Happy Memorial Day and thanks to all the troops and their families!!

It was a hot one today! Got my spring cleaning started, it's a good thing since summer is almost here! Cammie was a big help, well sort of mostly she got in the way. It's just really funny. I was eating ice cream this evening and she stuck her whole face in the container in order to try to get some. How cute is that?? Joe had signed up for overtime today but didn't get it so he did a bunch of work outside. We enjoyed our new deck furniture this evening. Until the mosquitoes drove us inside. I hope to get a good nights sleep tonight! Have a busy week planned this week so I know not only will I be tired but my back will be killing me! We got worried yesterday when we turned the AC on, it didn't seem to want to come on but it finally did. I had called Control who we have a contract with and those guys are awesome, they said they would come out if we needed them to. They were so great last summer when I was pregnant, we needed a fan or something replaced and it was taking a while for it to come in, every time they were in the neighborhood they stopped by to make sure everything was OK since they knew I was miserably fat and hot. We were also supposed to get the Journey back from the body shop for the second time on Friday but it still isn't ready. Ugh

AAHHHH!!!

I can't remember what Cammie was mad about in this pic but she was giving me heck about something! I was so tired last night that while I was in the shower Joe got her to fall asleep and I crashed shortly after. We finally finished the flower beds in the backyard!! Whew.... Just one small item off our collective honey do list. We treated ourselves with steamed crabs and steamed shrimp for dinner. Very yummy!! Cammie tried a little of each and of course she liked everything!! Trying to get some more stuff done today, we finished the front flower beds this morning before it got too hot and now Joe is tilling the spot for our garden! Try not to envy our glamorous life!! :o) There is always so much stuff to do and never enough time! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!

Cammie and Friend!!

Cammie did not want to go to sleep last night and when she finally did I couldn't sleep. I finally fell asleep sometime after 5a and she woke up at about 630. Oddly enough I'm not really tired right now, well I'm tired but not sleepy and I did NOT take a nap today. Cammie didn't take much of any naps and she has been going strong so hopefully she will crash soon!

We went to an initial consultation with a financial planner this morning and it was interesting. He said they would develop a long term plan for us and would meet a few times a year to make sure we were on track for the small fee of 500 bucks for the first year, then you pay an annual fee which if he said what it was I don't recall. Soooo I'm not sure if that is a standard thing since this is the first person we have talked to.

Joe reserved the BBQ caterer for Cammie's party today, that should be yummy! Can't wait but I know it will be here all too soon! We also finally got a patio set on sale at Kmart. So we can use the deck again! Hopefully Jacklyn Smith will do better than Martha Stewart, the last set we had was by MS and it rusted before we had it a year.

Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend, getting stuff done around the house. Maybe some steamed crabs tomorrow.... YUM!!!! (Got my benadryl and epi pen on the ready!!)

Cammie woke up right after I finished blogging earlier. And as per the norm she was full of energy. We went to take the dogs out and Sharon, Ken and Becca were sitting outside, well Becca was jumping on the trampoline so Cammie went over to do that with her. She had a great time bouncing all around. Her and Becca were so cute! It was really nice out this evening. After we came inside, Cammie and I settled in to watch So You Think You Can Dance. Joe got home shortly after that and Cammie was very excited to see Daddy! (So were the dogs!! and me of course) She finally fell asleep around 10. I've just been getting paperwork ready to take to our financial advisor meeting in the morning. They offer a free consultation so we are going in to get the most info we can and figure out how to manage our millions. Hee hee, I wish!! Should be interesting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!

Cammie kept me so busy yesterday by the time she fell asleep I was too tired to get on the computer!! We had a good day yesterday even though she freaked me out!! I put her down for her morning power nap and took the dogs outside to play a bit since Pudge has been kind of pouty this week. Anyway, I took the baby monitor with me and when I was in the yard, all of the sudden I hear voices and music coming from the monitor. It sometimes picks up other people (neighbors be warned!!) but I was freaked out until I realized it was The Little Mermaid. Cammie had woken up (big shock) and turned on her DVD player. OK... It was funny once I realized what the heck was going on. It was such a nice day that we decided to go to the park and take the trail to the library. On the way back to the car I realized that she had fallen asleep but when I stopped to take her picture so I could prove to Joe that she really did sleep sometimes she woke up and was trying to convince me that she was just resting her eyes. hee hee. She had her legs kicked up on the stroller and was laid back, very cute!!

Today I had to go see the orthopedist that my lawyer recommended, in Laurel. Thank you Meaghan for going with me!!! Although I was afraid she was going to pass out when the doctor gave me a cortisone shot in my shoulder (again!!). I was going to leave Cammie at her house but I was afraid she would scream the whole time (Cammie that is) so we all went. I finally got my shoulder x rayed and they re x rayed my neck, so basically I have a sprained neck and possibly a sprained shoulder. I got a new pillow for my neck and some muscle relaxers for my "spasms" so I should be good to go. If the cortisone shot doesn't help my shoulder I have to have an arthrogram (sp??) so I've got my fingers crossed.

Joe is going to the funeral home tonight for the mother of one his friends (Hatten) so he won't be home until late. Cammie just fell asleep a little while ago so I'm sure she will be awake to watch So You Think You Can Dance with me.

Helping Daddy

Keep these nice days coming please! Cool at night for sleeping and then warm and sunny during the day! The Blue Angels were practicing today for graduation tomorrow and we got a couple of peeks when they flew by the house. Very cool! Cammie helped me organize our room today, I would fold things and put them in the dresser and she would pull them out. I put all the shoes in the closet and she threw them out in the room. It was really funny this morning though, she has started jabbering in what can only be described as Chinese curse words. So I was eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast and she was standing next to me helping me finish it. When I told her it was all gone she looked at me, jabbered at me and then bit me on the leg. What's up with that?? She also helped me pick up rocks in the flower bed. We talked to Sharon and Becca for a little bit this morning and Cammie let Sharon hold her without screaming which was nice. We just hung out around the house today, trying to get motivated to do some spring cleaning.

Turned out to be a gorgeous day today. Cammie and I went to swim class this morning. Her boyfriend (hee hee) Cole was sick so he wasn't there but another little boy was but Cammie didn't seem too interested in him. Surprisingly! She had a great time splashing around and kicking and she stuck her face in the water a couple of times. I tried her new bathing suit with the floaty things in it and I think it was too big for her plus it was really awkward holding her in it. I think if she was playing in a kiddie pool or something it would be OK but I just felt like she was going to slip out of my hands. Plus it kept riding up over her mouth. She had fun anyway! She skipped her morning nap but took a pretty good one after lunch and then we hung out in the yard and played with the pups. Pudge was having a mood today so he needed some extra TLC. We talked to Sharon and Becca for a little while and then Joe came home from work. I finally got her to sleep just now and hopefully she will stay that way all night!!

I need to get some window clings or something for Cammie to play with on the door. She loves it. We have a liner thing on it so she can kind of see her reflection in the glass, I think that is what she really likes. Today was kind of a rainy sleepy day. Cammie and Joe took an afternoon nap on the couch and I took one in bed, under the covers. I don't think that qualifies as a nap or if it's just going to bed. Oh well. Joe B and Melissa stopped by on their way home from the beach so we got to hang out with them for a little bit. Getting ready to watch Survivor (Go JT!!) and then see if we can manage to stay awake longer than Cammie.

Today started out kind of gross weather wise but improved to sunny and humid. We gave up and turned on the AC. This morning we went over to Matt and Jenn's yard sale and found a couple of things for Cammie, she liked the ride on fire engine and has already figured out how to get off of it. Went to the grocery store on the way home and then did some things out in the yard. Things are coming along slowly but surely. This evening we went over to Angel and Mike's, they were having a party to celebrate their son graduating from the academy for AA County's Fire Department. Cammie got passed around once she warmed up to everyone. She finally got to see Shelly. Angel put her on the trampoline with the girls and it was so funny. Cammie was crawling around and laughing and bouncing a little. She really liked it and hopefully it wore her out. She ate some ice cream and cake and just generally had a good time and so did we!

I love making a big mess!!!

Today turned out to be a nice day although Cammie staged another sleep protest. She has been awake since about 730 this morning and is still going strong. I am exhausted, and I know Joe is tired from going out last night. I have done my very best to wear her out but have not been successful so far. I'm getting ready to give her a bottle and try to cuddle her to see if she'll just crash but I'm not hopeful.

Still recovering from Tuesday..... I feel exhausted. I just hope I don't get sick like I usually do after flying. Joe came home early today so he could go with Matt O to meet a friend of theirs from Connecticut. Hi Pat!!! Joe hasn't seen him in ages and Pat is in DC so Joe and Matt went there to meet him. Hopefully they found him! Cammie and I had lots of fun today playing outside with the pups. We walked down to see Kristin but as soon as we got in the house Cammie started crying. I think she was hungry but I was surprised. She got better when we went outside and then was much better after eating a ton of stuff for dinner. We still have been unable to find a food that she doesn't like. Cammie is sleeping now so I'm sure she will wake up soon, probably right when I am about to fall asleep. So on that note I think I am going to go lay down for a little while at least.

TUESDAY IN DISNEY

Poor Cammie had to stay home yesterday while Joe and I went to Disneyworld. We flew down in the morning on a 630 flight and left Orlando at 910 in the evening. Joe won our bet for the NCAA bball tournament and that is what he wished for. We started out the day with breakfast at our favorite place and then went to the Magic Kingdom which was packed! Even with all the people there we did manage to walk on two ride, Pirates and Haunted Mansion. We cruised around for a bit and then headed for the flower and garden show at EPCOT, that was so neat, so many pretty flowers and displays. We went to the boardwalk for lunch and then back to EPCOT in time for the storm. We hid from the rain in the American Adventure show and then went to dinner in Mexico. When we started heading out it was really storming but we made it! Such a fun day! We didn't get home until about midnight last night and we managed to get in the house without waking up Cammie and she actually slept in her own bed all night! Today we are really sore and tired but it was totally worth it.

Cammie had a fun day with Alice. Cammie woke up while we were getting ready to leave at about 330 am and she was ready to party but after we left Alice said she went right back to sleep. She also took 3 naps for Alice! I couldn't believe it. There was only one temper flare when it was time to go to bed and Cammie was fighting sleep but she said it didn't last long. Alice and Meaghan took Cammie to dinner at Big Bats and said she was upset when one man didn't acknowledge her so she grabbed him when he walked by. Then they took her down to the beach and tried to dip her toes in the water but Cammie was having none of that. Which surprises me since she likes the pool so much. Alice gave her a bath in the big tub and said she was splashing all over the place. She sent us a pic on the phone and it was so cute! So it seems like everyone made it through the day intact! (Although apparently it was a bit touchy with Clyde for a while, Alice said he wanted to lay on the couch and she made him go outside like he was a dog or something...)

Cammie and I went to swimming "class" this morning and she got to hang out with her boyfriend Cole. They are so cute in the pool. Cammie starts kicking her feet as soon as they hit the water. Her and Cole splash each other and "swim" after toys and play ball. She loves it and it wears her out. So obviously we need to get a pool. ha ha She took a good nap after that and then we ran some errands this afternoon. She boycotted her afternoon nap and stayed awake until about 9. Alice came over to spend the night because she is staying with Cammie while Joe and I go to the Happiest Place tomorrow! Hopefully it will go well. Going to go to bed now, got to get up early, have a date with the mouse!

Happy Mother's Day!! (Especially to my Mom- LOVE YOU!) Had a beautiful day for my first Mother's Day. We had family time and just hung out at the house, getting ready for our big day on Tuesday! YAY! I actually got to take a nap this afternoon. That was very exciting for me. Helped Joe in the yard, he finished getting the rocks out of one the flower beds, just one more to go. Such a pain. They look nice but they won't stay in place so we are moving them and putting peat moss down and trying to plant some more plants and flowers in the beds. Hopefully Clyde will approve and not eat or pull up the new additions. He did do a nice job pruning the crete (crepe?) myrtle last year but hopefully he is past that stage. We've started to make plans for Cammie's birthday party, invitations going out soon! We're just going to have it at the house, the dogs have already been booked for a spa weekend at the country club. July 11th is the date so mark your calendars! It's going to be a lot of fun!!

Here I come!!!!

Another nice but hot day today! Cammie bumped her head on the door to the deck and has a big knot on it. She started crying but stopped as soon as Joe put her in front of the mirror. She slept pretty well last night and took two good naps today. AND she's asleep now!! at 730!! I KNOW! Donna, Bill, Andrew, Meaghan, Rick and Alice came over for dinner and we had a lot of fun, I think that's what wore Cammie out! She spit up on Andrew which did not go over well but he recovered without reciprocating which I thought was nice. Other than that not much is going on. Joe and I are celebrating Mothers Day/Fathers Day on Tuesday in an extremely decadent way. No details until afterwards!! Of course some people already know and think we are crazy. But that's a given! We'll have fun plus Joe won a bet so I have to go along with the idea! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Taking some time out to meditate. (and gaze at my reflection. I'm so pretty....) :o)

Wow, today was actually pretty. Joe was off and we went to the doctor in Annapolis this morning and then went to the new Bed Bath and Beyond. (and Target). We wanted to go look at the luxury condos but Cammie was getting cranky since she woke up at 630 and didn't take a nap all morning. Don't get me started on that. We got home after lunch and took the beasts for a short walk just to make sure they remembered what a nice day looked like. The yard is still too wet to cut so Joe just trimmed everything. We need to get our garden planted but it's such a swamp where we wanted to put it. We also need to get some flowers for the front yard too. Joe's honey do list is getting longer every day!! Just kind of chilled out this evening, it took forever for me to get Cammie to sleep. I even gave her a bath and rubbed her with the night time lotion. She showed her thanks by pooing on Joe and throwing up on me. Such a love!! :o) I guess it's supposed to rain again tomorrow. Bleah....

Now I've got the remote! Hey who took the batteries out???

OK, I know everyone is getting sick of discussing the weather but today has just been weird again. Gray clouds, brief sun, torrential downpour, brief sun, thunder and lightning with a downpour, sun, clouds and now sun again. Oops I mean cloudy again. In the words of some one's Jewish grandmother, OY VEY!!! OK, I'll stop kvetching about it now.

Anyway, who the heck gave Cammie Red Bull yesterday? Or mountain dew and sugar? She was wired for sound until about midnight. Poor Joe was exhausted and was trying to sleep in bed and Cammie was climbing all over him and squealing. I think I finally gave up and went to sleep. I don't really remember. I do remember putting on Yo Gabba Gabba at some point for her because she does like that show, it really creeps me out but if it would quiet her down I was willing to deal with some creepies.

We tried to run some errands this afternoon but were chased home by the thunderstorm. I was afraid that someone would drop a house on me. (That was for you Uncle Gary!) So now Cammie and I have been playing and I have been trying to wear her out. She is really into opening and closing doors now. She gets really focused on it and I'm sure that means that she will be brilliant in some way. :o)

Joe has off tomorrow! YAY He has a doctors appointment in the morning and then we are going to finish the errands I started today and I'm sure at some point it will rain. All this dampness is killing my back!

I've got my own phone!

Guess what? It's raining again. I know big surprise right? I'm so sick of the smell of wet dampness. UGH! Joe ended up coming home last night after his class and made it all the way into the bedroom before the dogs woke up. Pudge's excuse was that he is a retriever not a watchdog, if we want a watch dog we should get a German Shepard or something like that. Hmmm, he really is getting sassy. :o) Actually he seemed embarrassed. Clyde was oblivious and Bailey was just annoyed that her beauty sleep was interrupted. I don't know what the deal with Cammie's teeth is, the top ones still haven't come in but they have to be bothering her. She calms down when I put oragel on her gums but she will wake up crying for no reason. Speaking of Cammie she is definitely strong willed and doesn't like to be told no. I took her to the grocery store which I don't like to do for a multitude of reasons but I figured since I only needed to get a couple of things it wouldn't be too bad. Mistake... none of the carts I could find had a seat belt that worked so I just put her in the seat, which was fine for a short time. Then she turned around, sat sideways, stood up and I think at one point I was in the seat and she was pushing the cart. It was a tad stressful to say the least.

An adjuster from State Farm came out today to look at the Journey (which we got back last Friday) and he found a lot of things wrong with it so it has to go back to the body shop. Joe said he was taking a lot of pictures and pointed out a bunch of stuff that Joe hadn't noticed. Joe had noticed some cosmetic things, like the lights not lining up but we weren't sure if that was just the best you can get after having repairs done. The adjuster said it's unacceptable and the car has to go back so he went and talked to the body shop right afterwards and they are supposed to call us. And the best part is they now can't find the guy who hit us. Isn't that surprising?

My shorts are bunching!!!

This was a pic from before the monsoon season started. It actually didn't rain throughout the day but was damp and gross and it's pouring now. I went to my pt re eval and took Cammie with me, Lynn was finished her workout so she said she would sit with her for me but Cammie was having none of that. She is definitely going through her clingy stage and of course it is driving me crazy because sometimes I can't put her down for a second. Joe is going to be late tonight if he makes it home at all, he is helping teach a class and isn't sure when they are going to get out and if it's past a certain point it's not worth him trying to get home just to get up at the crack of some awful early morning time!! Going to try to cuddle with the wild woman and see if I can get her to settle down. Wish me luck!

What the heck was in that bottle????

We had to get the ark out of the shed when all the animals started lining up in pairs again. The yard is such a mess, I think when the sun finally hits the grass you'll be able to see it grow a foot at least. I spaced out this morning and forgot to take Cammie to swimming. When I called they said that Cole was very disappointed not to see her. I feel so bad. She could have used some activity today to tire herself out too, she was like a wild child, squealing and tearing around the house. Yikes! It rained just about all day today and is supposed to for the rest of the week. My back, neck and shoulder are really hurting. But on the plus side, my allergies have improved since there can't be a drop of pollen anyway that hasn't been washed away. Have my PT re evaluation tomorrow, that should be interesting. Hope everyone is staying dry, put your water wings on!!!

Still Bad to the Bone!!

A really rainy day, time to get the ark back out of storage! Had a fun day playing with Cammie, she did not want to sleep in her own bed last night which made for a long night. She took an OK nap this morning and none at all this afternoon and she is sleeping now and has been since about 715. I'm sure it won't last but I'm hopeful!!

Granny Franny and Pop Fisher came over this afternoon and we went for a late lunch/early dinner at Rams Head with them and had a great visit. We don't get to see them nearly enough. Girl on the Go!!!

Kind of a blah day today. It seemed like it was going to rain and then would sprinkle and then just be damp and gross. Joe got some stuff done in the basement and cut the grass. I got some cleaning done. Fun was had by all! Cammie actually took a good nap but is still going strong now at 9pm. We watched a funny movie tonight, Role Models. I know it was good because Joe stayed awake for the whole thing! Just had a good family day at home! Going to go hang out some more and try to convince Cammie that she isn't going to miss anything if she falls asleep. Wish me luck!!1

Flying the friendly skies...

Went to physical therapy this morning and almost got thrown out for coughing. They said, "If you are sick please reschedule your appointment!!!" I feel like I should get a tshirt that says I have allergies not the swine flu or ebola or whatever plague is floating around. Geez. Did some stuff in the yard but the weather couldn't make up its mind whether it should rain or not. Then I did the unthinkable and took a nap this afternoon with Cammie on one couch and Joe and the dogs were on the other couch. I couldn't believe it!! A nap!! YAY!! Then when we got up (at 5 so the dogs could have dinner, Pudge eats at 5 you know....) we were trying to decide what we should have and we were saved by the bell. Or rather the ring of the phone, Meaghan and Rick were on their way over here and wanted to know if we wanted to go out to dinner so of course we did. We went to Sado again and Meaghan was brave and tried some sushi. I got my usual California roll which is about as exotic as I can do. It was pretty crowded in there and the service was alot slower than usual. Cammie did really good and it was funny when we were waiting to be seated, Joe was holding her and this lady said, "She looks just like her Daddy". Joe being the smartass that he can be replied with "I'll be sure and let him know." It was funny though. Now we are trying to get the Chunkapotamus to go to sleep, better go relieve Joe!!
