A pony ride at Fort Wilderness

Got up very early this morning to catch our flight. Everything went pretty smoothly at the airport, in the air not so much. Uncle Gary did get to the airport on time and got on our flight with us, so that was a big relief! The flight down was very turbulent and it made me very nauseated. Cammie fell asleep pretty quickly which was awesome, so I shut my eyes and took a nap. I could hear stuff going on around me but I definitely felt better after that. We got to Orlando and Juan the driver was waiting for us and we were off to the Wilderness Lodge! Mom and Dad met us in the lobby and we all headed over to Trails End for lunch. YUM!! After lunch we went to see the ponies and we fudged Cammie's age a little so she could have a pony ride, which she loved!! Stopped in to say Hi to the big horses and then we went back to WL to check into our room. We got a one bedroom this time because there were no studio rooms available and it is really nice. I can't wait to take a bath in the big jacuzzi tub!! Cammie fell asleep pretty quickly for a nap and then Joe did and then Gary and then finally me. Two naps in one day!! When we all woke up, we caught up with Mom and Dad and headed over to the Magic Kingdom. We grabbed dinner at Pecos Bill's cafe and then got on the carousel, Snow White and It's a Small World. We missed the parade so we also got on the people mover in Tomorrowland and then Mom and Dad watched Cammie so Joe, Gary and I could get on the Haunted Mansion. We all got in one doom buggy and I don't mind telling you it was a little snug. We also got to see the fireworks in an awesome spot. We were right in front of Pooh's playground. Cammie absolutely loved the fireworks, she wasn't afraid of the noise or anything, she was pointing and clapping. She is taking it all in. The place looks gorgeous all decorated for Christmas. It will really put you in a festive mood. Well time for bed so we can get up tomorrow and have another fun filled day!!!!!

This weekend has been pretty boring, just hanging out doing stuff around the house. But the best part is we are getting ready to leave tomorrow morning for DISNEY!! Still got lots of stuff to do but I promise we'll have lots of pictures and fun reports!!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and a great weekend!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had a yummy dinner at Rick and Meaghan's. I'm overstuffed now I think except oddly enough I want a snack. I was looking forward to laying in bed and watching Survivor but it's one of the highlights episodes and I hate those. So I'm waiting for Cammie to wear herself out. Joe got OT for tomorrow so he has to go to Lisbon. Very good day!

Going down the slide like a Rock Star!!!

Another rainy yucky day.... the yard is so disgusting I can't stand it. The dogs don't even like going outside. Bleah.... Cammie and I hung out at home today. I tried to do a little organizing/cleaning but I didn't get a whole lot accomplished. It took Joe about 3 hours to get home from work today due to traffic and weather. It's a good thing he is off until.... well he's off for a while!! Monday we leave for Disney!!! Yay!! I've got my fingers crossed that Uncle Gary will be able to get on our flight down. He won't find out until Monday morning. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Bouncing Around.....

Another gross rainy day today. Cammie stayed up until about midnight last night and when I got up to put her in her crib she woke up. I thought I was going to cry, but I laid her in there and she played for a couple of minutes and when I checked on her about five minutes later she was out so that was nice. She got up pretty early this morning (sigh) and we went to Tot Time Fun and she kissed one of the boys there. It was cute. After we got home I dropped her off with Ashley so I could go get a pedi and get my haircut. Ashley and Mark took her to Cracker Barrel for lunch so you know she was in heaven!!! Joe was late getting home after the union meeting today so we had an easy dinner/breakfast. Cammie just fell asleep and Joe and I are hanging out getting ready to watch So You Think You Can Dance!!

This picture is payback for me having a little face peering in at me while I was in the shower yesterday! Someone figured out how to open the bathroom door and sneak in, and it wasn't Pudge this time. Cammie woke up at around 330 this morning and did NOT want to go back to sleep. She was in a very good mood, when Joe came in to say goodbye he was greeted with a very cheery HI. And it was all downhill from there. Around 8 or so I informed Cammie that since Mommy was so tired she couldn't see straight we would not be going to see Aunt Alice at Walmart. She responded to this with what could only be translated as Oh Shit and ran down the hall to her room and slammed the door. I guess she really wanted to go shopping. So the day just kind of snowballed from there. She took about an hour nap and so did I, then this afternoon I heard my cell phone ringing and Cammie jabbering away. She called her Daddy and then answered the phone when he called back and then figured out how to put it on speaker phone. Sigh.... Going to go hang out for a bit and rest up before we go to bed! Good night!!!

Got some organizing done today. Still too much more to do. Joe went fishing for a little bit with Ritchie and still hasn't come home yet. Guess I better go feed the dogs! It is five!!! Cammie has had a blast going up and down the steps and running around the basement. She is very silly. She also has been really funny in the tub, she gets on her stomach and pretends she is swimming. It's too cute! She is also very sassy, I wonder where she gets that from. We were supposed to have a playdate tomorrow morning at the Playzone with Mollie and Brady but they are not feeling well and we are trying not to get sick before vacation next week, so that has been postponed! Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!

I LOVE Balloons!!!

Got a little bit of stuff done today. The new sofa finally arrived and Joe moved the TV downstairs. Tomorrow we are going to go through the pics and stuff that we have for down there. Not sure when the carpet is supposed to arrive but that will be the final touch. And of course adding all of Cammie's toys. We ended up putting the entertainment center back up which we hadn't planned on doing but it looks a lot better and gives us more storage room and a place to put DVDs and games and stuff. Can't wait until it is all put together!! We watched some TV down there this evening and the sofa is VERY comfy!! We won't have any problems napping down there!! I just need to find the extra baby monitor!!!

Trying to be just like Daddy!

Today turned out to be nicer than I thought it would be. I got three loads of laundry done (hung two outside to dry!) and finally made it to the grocery store where I saved $94. I was rather impressed with myself! Cammie took a long nap this afternoon which allowed me to take a brief one. Joe got home a little early from work and we had a yummy shrimp alfredo for dinner. Now everyone is asleep and I'm just waiting for Diners, Drive Ins and Dives to come on, better go get a snack so I don't watch it hungry! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Future Firefighter!!!!

Not much going on the past couple of days. Been feeling kind of blah and not sleeping well. Cammie seems to be sleeping better on her own. I still can't get her to go to sleep on her own like Alice can though. Got a busy weekend coming up, lots to do and our sofa is being delivered on Saturday! Yay! The carpet should be here soon and then the basement will be ours! Can't wait to cozy up in front of the fire and watch TV on a comfy couch!!! There will also be room for Cammie to play! She is asleep already, as is everyone else. I'm going to hang out and get ready to watch Survivor!

Busy day yesterday!!! Alice came over to stay with Cammie and the dogs so Joe and I could go shopping. We decided to go to Columbia and that was a good choice, we went to LL Bean (thanks to gift card), lunch at PF Changs (gift card), and the mall (Disney store gift card and coupon for Yankee Candle). We did buy a few things that we actually had to pay for. After the mall we hit Toys R Us and only got 1 small item (it's true!!), then Bass Pro Shop and Coldstone on the way home! Picked up a pizza for dinner and we were beat!! Alice had gotten Cammie to take a marathon nap and I thought she was still tired but she ended up staying up til about 10 and then waking up at 630 this morning. She is really into opening and closing the fridge door now. I also asked her yesterday morning if she was hungry and she nodded yes and then did the sign for eating. She is so smart!!! But when I made her mad later by telling her no she walked down to her room and shut the door. She is so funny! This morning we went to Tot Time and she had a really good time. She is not too into the story or the craft but she likes the playtime, and she did play with the other kids some. Her and another little boy were dancing, that was really cute. We stopped to look at the cats and dogs on the way out and then came home and she ate lunch, played a little and now she is napping. I'm going to grab a bite and maybe try to nap a minute myself!!

What a gorgeous day today! So of course I have had a splitting headache all day. UGH! Joe got a bunch of stuff done on his Honey Do list. I was less than productive. I did manage to keep Cammie fed which is in itself all day job. I took her to Kmart for a little while with me (I hate Kmart). I figured the outlets would be packed. We were going to stop on the way home and feed the animals by Rustico but the parking lot was full. We settled for a walk with Daddy and the pups when we got home! Alice is coming over tomorrow to watch Cammie so we can do some baby free shopping. We were going to go to Delaware but I think we may go to Columbia instead. I'm sure we will change our mind a few times between now and then. Going to hang out and wait for The Amazing Race to come on!!!

Weather was much improved again today but the backyard is still soaking wet. It will probably dry just before the next monsoon. Joe headed back over the bridge this morning to go order our new couch (the bigger one does fit!!), it will be here on the 24th. He also went to Home Depot. Cammie and I tried to do some cleaning. We've had dinner, a delicious roasted chicken and Cammie has had a bath so now we are just hanging out! Can't wait til the couch is here and we can all actually sit in the same room and watch TV. Other than in the bedroom of course. It's just too crowded and uncomfortable in the living room upstairs. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

DUCK!

Another blustery and rainy day today. We headed over the bridge early to do some shopping and there were a lot of trucks lined up along 50 waiting for the wind restriction to be lifted. Not sure if that is going to happen anytime soon. We went to Value City to get the sofa that we picked out a while ago and while we were looking around we found one that we liked better but weren't sure if it would fit in the basement so we had to come home and measure again. It will fit so we need to go back and order it. And find an area rug. After that we went to Petsmart to pick up some milkbones and to Michaels Crafts. I swear I got so annoyed, when I was with Alice, Meaghan and Emily last week we went to the Micheals in EC and the line was really long and there was only one person working, well the same thing was going on in this one so I just left the things I wanted. I found all but one in Toys R Us so it wasn't a total loss, and actually got a better deal. Those little Crayola Marker/Paint packets where it only marks on the paper included were buy one get one free in Toys R Us so I got two instead of one! They just didn't have the giant coloring sheets there. Oh well! I'm sure I can find them somewhere else. We found a little table and chairs and a vacuum that works too! When we got home we had lunch and then Cammie took a nap. I fell asleep for a little bit and then when she woke up I wasn't quite ready to get up so I laid her down in bed with me and cuddled up under the blanket and both us fell back to sleep! When I woke up she was still out and stayed that way until I woke her up at 415. I figured if I didn't wake her up she would never go back to sleep tonight. I hated to do it!!! She still seems a little tired so there is hope. I'm actually ready for bed now... such an exciting Friday night!! Got to make sure we get a snack before we go to bed because Diners Drive Ins and Dives comes on and that always makes us hungry!!!!

I think we are about to either float away or blow away today. Yikes! Alice came over this morning and we were going to go to Sams but since it was raining still we took Cammie to the Ultimate Playzone instead. There is logic behind that, if we went to Sams we would have to put stuff in the back of the truck and it would have gotten soaked or blown out! So anyway, the playzone was pretty cool. There are a lot of badly behaved rude children in this world though. Or is it because there are badly behaved rude parents?? Which came first the chicken or the egg?? Cammie had a great time running around and playing on everything. Alice and I did our best to keep up with her, and if you are looking for a workout, climbing up a moonbounce ladder will do it for you I promise!!! After that we went to Chik FilA for lunch, then home so I could drop off Alice and Cammie and then go to a doctors appointment. After it took Joe forever to get home, he almost had to float across the bay I think, we had a yummy dinner with eclairs for dessert!!! YUM!! Cammie fell asleep a little bit ago and soon I will be relaxing in bed watching Survivor.

I don't think this Thursday will look anything like last thursday....

What a rainy gross day today. It sounds like it will continue for a while too. Wonderful! Cammie and I stayed home and didn't venture out for anything today. That made the dogs happy. It's just hard to find things to entertain her with. You know she only has a few toys...... It feels like it is about 10 at night. UGH!!!

Goosing a goat

Busy busy day again today. I'm sensing a trend. We got up this morning and went to Tot Time Fun at Parks and Rec at the narrows. There were about 6 or 7 other kids in the class. It went well I thought except for the little boy that pushed Cammie out of the fire engine and stuck his finger in her mouth. EW. They do a half hour of free play, then a half hour of story time and a craft, then a half hour of free play. This other mom there was telling me about this place called Roly Poly in Severna Park. She said it was pretty fun for the kids and her little girl is two. When we got home Cammie had some lunch and then she went up to the outlets with Ashley. While she was gone Olivia called and said that she had taken Eva to the health department for the H1N1 vaccine and there was no line so when Ashley and Cammie got home we all went up there and Cammie got her vaccination. Now we have to do this all over in four weeks. Sigh.....

Do NOT Disturb.....

Had a very busy day today, I'm not sure how I even got it all done! Did 4 loads of laundry, and hung two of them outside to dry. Went to the grocery store, which is getting more and more challenging with Ms. Grabby, got home and put everything away ( I saved 63 bucks, got a $10 off coupon for next time and a coupon for a free turkey), played with the dogs for a bit. Met Jennifer and Brody at Cracker Barrel for lunch, after that got dog food, went to the deli and came home and got Cammie to fall asleep. Played with the dogs, cleaned a little, started dinner, Joe came home! He emptied the rest of the wood out of the truck, we ate dinner, gave Cammie a bath and now I am exhausted!!!! Cammie kept looking for Da'EE today. I tried telling her he was at work but she kept yelling it. It was funny. Tomorrow morning we start her Tot Time Fun at Parks and Rec so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully she will like it!

Sporty Spice!

What a beautiful day!!! It was gorgeous out today! We didn't take Cammie to the vaccine clinic today because there was already a line when Joe went past almost two hours before it started. I think I'll try later this week, the county has one coming up that Olivia told me about. Joe took Cammie out to Donna and Bill's so he could cut firewood with Daniel. Cammie had a great time hanging out with Aunt Donna! I got a bunch of cleaning done and then Alice came over and we went to a jewelry party at Jennifer's. She had lots of pretty jewelry and yummy sangria! We stayed for a little bit and then came home and took the beasts for a short walk. Joe and Cammie got home and now everyone has been fed and bathed and now we are all just hanging out! I'm waiting for The Amazing Race to come one!

Playing in the leaves!

Well yesterday after I posted, Alice came to pick up Cammie and take her out to dinner and shopping. Joe and I decided to go to Harris' since he was craving oysters. They had a pretty yummy looking oyster bar set up. I got a crab cake and hush puppies and of course a nutty buddy for dessert. YUM!! We had two different couples sit next to us and all were very nice. We came home and chilled out for a little bit and then Alice brought Cammie back. A fun evening was had by all, except that Cammie ate all of Alice's corn on the cob. Ooops. This morning Joe went and got the trim that he needed for the basement and worked on that and I took Cammie up to the outlets to get a new pair of shoes. That place was packed!! I guess cause it is a weekend. I'll try again during the week, I did find her a pair of shoes but I would have liked to have looked around a little too and there was just no room for that. Tomorrow morning is the H1N1 vaccine clinic at the pediatricians office, we'll see how that goes.

Riding like a pro!!

Yesterday, Alice, Meaghan, Emily, Cammie and I went on a field trip to Clark Elioak Farm. It was really cool. They have a bunch of stuff from the old Enchanted Forest (which I know I went to but can't remember) and they have a petting farm and pony rides and a tree maze. Cammie LOVED playing with all of the animals and we were trying to figure out how many we could get into the back of the truck. We had lots of fun and then we went to Uno's for lunch then did a little shopping at Michaels (well we tried to but the lines were too long.) and Hallmark and Kohls. Then we went to Toys R Us, which oddly Cammie slept through. She had fallen asleep in the truck and then we put her in the stroller and she slept the whole time we were in there. She did however wake up as soon as I opened an ice cream bar. Her sense for food is uncanny. We had a great day and it was nice out too, crisp and cool! Had an OK night last night and are NOT having a good day today..... I tried to go to Kmart earlier to get a new trash can for the kitchen which was useless since they didn't have anything close to what I was looking for. Cammie wasn't happy about being in the cart, then when we walked through the toy aisle she kept wanting toys that were way too old for her so she was getting mad. We finally made it out of there (and did not break anything and I only had to put back two things that she threw in the cart). I did find the Snow White movie but they only had the blu ray one and the guy there said that was all anyone has (which I have found to be true so I got it). I'm sure I'll find the regular one everywhere now. UGH. So we left Kmart and I went to the vet to pick up medicine for Bailey ( a whole other long story in itself....) and when we walked in I shut Cammie's fingers in the door. AND I left the house without a binky, I did buy one in Kmart but couldn't get the freaking package open so we had to ride all the way home screaming and crying. (both of us). When I got her in the house she fell right to sleep and slept for about 40 minutes. I think she is still mad at me though. To add to my wonderful day, my outside clothes dryer that you are only supposed to use inside blew over again and when I finally got it back upright it fell over on my back and hit me in the head. Happy Freaking Friday everyone.......

Got some stuff done today too! I did have to go across the bridge for a doctors appointment this afternoon and I dropped Cammie off at Meaghan's. She (Cammie) was waving at the door when I left and when I got back she was crying, however she was pointing at the basement. So those of you who know how fond Cammie is of cats must have guessed that Meaghan's cats were hiding! Cammie wanted to play with them and they had other ideas! She got excited when she saw one sitting in the door when we walked up the steps! She also gets excited when she sees Cody next door, and she loves playing with our dogs, but there is something about a CAT!!! Tomorrow we are going to Clark Farm with Alice and Meaghan so that should be fun! Hopefully they will have lots of animals for her to pet and play with!

Not a very exciting day today. Cammie and I stayed home so that I could hopefully get a few things done around the house and I did but not as many as I would have liked. Oh well.... Tomorrow I have to go across the bridge for a doctors appointment and Meaghan is going to watch Cammie for me. I feel sorry for Meaghan's cats!!! Had a yummy dinner of beef, potatoes and peppers in the crock pot, now we are all just hanging out! Have a good night and stay warm, it's supposed to get chilly!!!

Well hellooooo there!!!

Busy day today!!! Joe went back to work and Cammie and I went to Cracker Barrel. I know there is something not fair about that. We met Jennifer and Brody and one of Jennifer's friends and had a yummy breakfast and then let the kids loose in the store. After we left there, went to CVS, then home. Cammie was doing a lot of yawning and actually took a brief nap. I fed her lunch and then we went back out and went to the library. She ran on the trail for a little bit, she was really more interested in climbing on the fence and also in a plane that flew over. We ran a couple more errands and then when we were driving past the animals across from Rustico I noticed that they were up by the front fence so we stopped for a minute to see them. The food thingies were empty but the goats came over and licked Cammie's hand which she thought was hysterical, then all the chickens and a huge rooster came running over but they lost interest when they realized we had no food. The sheep almost came over but they must have heard that we had nothing to offer so they wandered off quickly. After that I had to wrestle Cammie back into the truck because she didn't want to leave. I guess we are going to have to move to a farm or a zoo or something..... Did some cleaning and fixed dinner now everyone is hanging out and relaxing. Going to watch a little TV soon and try to get my little party animal to sleep. Actually I just looked at the time and it's only almost 530 so I have a little while before I can try to convince her to go to bed, but she doesn't know about the time change either, hmmmm... and it is dark now. I'll see if I can put one over on her!

Cammie and I went to Jessica's baby shower today and had lots of fun. We picked up Mom on the way. Cammie was a big hit and was very good, although she was very nosy! She got to meet some relatives that she hadn't met yet! I got to see some family I hadn't seen in a while, there was yummy food, and a CAT! Jessica looks great and we had a good time. Cammie slept all the way home and just now fell asleep for the night. I think she just wanted to watch The Amazing Race with me! Joe has to go back to work tomorrow and now we are just counting down the days til we go back to Disney!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Happy Halloween

Cammie had so much fun last night!! Alice, Meaghan and Rick all came over for dinner and Meaghan made a yummy brownie graveyard for Joe's birthday! After dinner all us girls went trick or treating with Tinkerbell and she had so much fun! She liked going up to every one's house and having them tell her how pretty she looked! She wasn't scared at all either, the one house down on the corner of the other court had some stuff in the yard that I thought she might not like but she was pointing at all the ghosts and skeletons and stuff and she was fine! We had a pretty fair amount of trick or treaters and the parents liked the jello shots! Ashley and Mark came over for a little bit but Ashley missed seeing Cammie in her costume! Julie hung out with us, and so did Patrick and Sean. Lynn came over for a little bit and so did a lot of people that I can't remember their names. We had to move from the driveway to Patrick and Olivia's garage when it really started raining though! Joe seemed to really enjoy his birthday although he is feeling it today! My back hurts from standing and all the dampness! Was going to go to the Lab Rescue event today but I'm not sure now. Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!
