Finding the perfect book

A supposedly tired Cammie is in her jumper seat squealing away and blowing raspberries at Daddy. Have a feeling this is going to be a long evening! She stayed with Sharon and Becca this afternoon while I went to the doctor and had a good time. Sharon reported no meltdowns just some fussiness when she was sleepy or hungry. Of course Cammie took an hour nap for Sharon.

I still don't have an answer as to exactly what is wrong with my stomach. The doctors that I saw today said I have all the symptoms of Crohns Disease but could also have IBS or celiac disease. Bleah. I have to keep a food journal for two months and have some bloodwork done. He also suggested another endoscopy and colonoscopy at some point. At the same time!! I hope they use two different scopes. That's just gross. Anyway, it's such a pain!

I feel about a hundred years old!! Cammie has been full of energy and is raring to go! She only napped for about 40 minutes today total. Luckily she will hold her bottle herself so I jumped in the shower while she was snacking. Yikes. We played and played and I got worn out but her, not so much!! Joe had to lower her crib to the lowest spot over the weekend and I think that is why I'm having a hard time getting her in there, she falls asleep but then wakes up when I drop her the last few inches in, just kidding, I lay her down but it's hard on my back so it's not very graceful and I'm sure that is what wakes her up. Tomorrow she is going to stay with Sharon and Becca because I have a doctors appointment in Lutherville. I know it's really far away but it's a GI doc from Hopkins that specializes in Crohns disease so I want to get another opinion. My mom got me an appointment with this guy. Hopefully he can do something for me.
The snow really started to melt today so the yard will be a swamp by this weekend I'm sure. The dogs will love slopping around in the mess but then cleaning it up will suck!!

Cammie definitely knows how to get what she wants! Last night we were going to lay in bed to watch TV and as soon as I laid her down she nestled right into the pillow and pulled the covers up over herself. I tried about three times to get her into her crib but she kept waking up. She is now sleeping in my spot in bed. Actually everyone is asleep in bed except for Max who is on the floor next to the bed. Had a pretty good day today, didn't go outside much since it was so cold. Cammie is getting over her cold but my back has been killing me. I fixed her a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner and broke it into tiny pieces for her and she loved it. She also did some wii fit exercises today. It looked like yoga, it was really cute. She put her hands on the board and then stuck her butt up in the air.

Snow Day!!

Whew! We got a bunch of snow! Joe finally got the snow off the satellite dish last night but I missed my show. Today we have gotten a few channels but some of them won't come in. I really dislike Direct TV but we have forever left on our commitment. UGH! Anyway, Cammie seemed to like her first snow. She looks so cute in her snowsuit (which as some of you know was a pain to find!!) and her little boots! One boot fell off while we were going outside and it was driving me crazy trying to find it, Joe found it in the snow outside, either Bailey or Clyde sneakily snagged it and ran. Those dogs!! Speaking of the beasts, they are loving the snow, some of the drifts are up to their stomachs and they run and jump in it. Too funny! We didn't want to take Cammie out for too long since she is still having a runny nose and cough so we just had a few photo ops for her. She'll be signing autographs later... She is really starting to get around in the house, if she can't get there backwards she just rolls around. Going to try to find something to get into for the rest of the day. We were playing wii carnival games earlier. Should do wii fit, but it's going to be really rude since we missed a day. :o)

Comfy in cute jammies!!

It finally started snowing this evening! AND right when we were about to watch the last episode of The Amazing Race Season 9 the Direct TV went out!!! I invested the last two days to watching that season and now I'm going to miss the finale. AAAHHHH It better come back on before this season's episode tonight. Plus Maryland plays bball tonight! So don't believe the ad from Direct TV that they rarely have outages of service when the weather is bad, ours goes out every time the weather is bad, even if it is just really cloudy or windy.

Anyway, not much to report again today... did get some cleaning done and lots of quality time playing with Cammie. She is so funny and cute I can't stand it!!! I just want to hug her all the time! I got her that Yo Baby yogurt to try and she loves it, although she really hasn't not liked any food that we have given her. She's also loving the cheerios! They do stick to her big cheeks though at times and we have found them under her chins. I guess she is saving them for later.

Cammie is doing much better. She is much less congested than she was and she slept most of last night on her own. Everyone slept in this morning, even the dogs! It was very surprising. I had plans to get stuff done around the house but now I don't feel well. You can't win!!! Cammie was playing in her room and she made it all the way across the rug to one of her toys that you can pull up on and she pulled up on it. When I tried to move it (it slides around if you don't prop it against something) she got a little mad and then pulled herself up on her crib. She also got onto the bottom shelf of her bookshelf and pulled all the books off. So she had a very busy day!

I have to download more pics later. I know I'm behind! Cammie is feeling much better today. She is still congested and coughing but it seems to be improving. Now I am starting to not feel well. UGH! I'm trying to ward off symptoms so hopefully I won't get sick too! Joe got some one on one quality Cammie time this morning and she gave him a fit, but in all fairness the dogs did too, so he didn't have a very good start to his day. Not much planned for this weekend. Hopefully everyone else has something exciting going on! :o)

Cammie and Uncle Michael

We took Cammie to the doctors today since she was up most of last night coughing and sneezing. And don't get me started on the snot. EW! Anyway, she weighs 19 pounds 15 ounces. Yikes! She just has an upper respiratory infection, her ears and throat are ok. Yay! I was just concerned because she has been running a fever. She is still in a really good mood though, me not so much. We did get one of those vicks vapor plugs which seems to work really well. Much nicer than rubbing that stuff on your chest.

We're just hanging out now, taking turns on the wii fit. I am still mad at it though, not only does it say that I'm fat but today my wii fit age was 52!!!! I went from 35, which is the new 25 really to OLD! Stupid game. Getting ready to watch Survivor although every time it comes on I swear I'm not going to watch it, I'm definitely losing interest in it. The Amazing Race is much better. Joe is off for the next four days so hopefully we'll get some good family time in!

Cammie and Uncle Gary

Poor Cammie has caught Joe's cold. She woke a bunch of times last night crying so hard. We felt terrible for her. Today she has been coughing and sneezing and has a runny nose. She just has a slight temp and is in surprisingly good spirits. I don't feel great either so we just kind of laid around today and took it easy (code for napped). Joe is still not feeling his best either so hopefully we can get rid of whatever it is and not keep passing it around.

Cammie has started making the baa baa sound, it's very cute. She is just the sweetest cutest thing, I can't stand it!! We are so lucky!!

Not too much going on today again. Just trying to keep Cammie occupied!! and the dogs too of course.... Cammie kind of crawled forward today, she still would rather scoot around on her butt though. She also is very impressed with herself when she pulls up on things. She watched when I used the wii fit and seemed to get a kick out of that, I guess my lack of coordination is amusing. It kind of irks me though when you step on the pad and it groans. Joe was using it this evening and Cammie grabbed on to his leg to add some difficulty to his exercise. It was funny. Then I ate some cupcakes and watched the Biggest Loser. Ironic isn't it? I finally got everyone to sleep, meaning Cammie of course, Joe doesn't have any problem going to sleep, nor do the dogs. Good night!!

I'm so tired from our busy weekend that I didn't do much today. Poor Joe has had a cold and he had to go back to work. Cammie must be growing because I think she ate just about all day today. I gave her some cut up banana and she loved it. She also likes apple slices in one of those little mesh things. She's got the chewing thing down pretty good. I can't believe how fast she is growing.

We were cleaning up from dinner and looked out the kitchen window and in the field right behind the fence there were about ten deer walking by. They were so pretty and looked pretty big.

Another social day today! We went to Jennifer and Matthew's house after Grace's christening. She looked so pretty in her dress! She is getting so big too! She's going to catch up to Cammie! Meaghan fed Cammie some pickle so when I am cleaning up the mess later I am going to save it for her!!! Cammie got passed around and was loving every minute of it. She met a new cousin (Stacy) and we told her it was cute to roll around on the table and pull her skirt up while she is still little but when she gets older we will frown on that!! On our way home we stopped by Chris and Julie's to give Kristin her birthday gift since we missed her party last night. Cammie liked hanging out with the girls!

Alice brought over her wii fit yesterday and I'm not going to tell you what my age is on there but Joe is using it now so I better get my butt out there!

Such a happy girl!!

We had a full house today! Dinner was at our house and was very well attended, Alice, Meaghan, Emily, Andrew, Donna, Bill, Joe and Melissa all came. Cammie had a blast playing with everyone, she was laughing so hard with Andrew and Melissa. It was so cute!! She got some new cute outfits from Alice and Donna for spring/summer. She also ate a bunch! Mashed potatoes (her fave), corn, a biscuit, and mini cupcakes. She was smeared with food from head to toe, it was funny. She wanted to do it by herself! She got a bath and a bottle and then fell asleep with minimal effort, I'm thinking she is going to stay that way for a while! She was exhausted. The pups are worn out as well! So am I now that you mention it! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!! :o)

I took Cammie with me to a quick doctors appointment this morning and she was a big hit in the office. Everyone thought she was just the cutest and sweetest! Of course I have to agree! We came home right afterwards because my back is hurting more than usual and I wasn't in the greatest mood. Cammie must have picked up on that because she was kind of crabby off and on throughout the day. We played some and tried to straighten up some. It was really cold and windy today! Now we're just hanging out and waiting to see if Cammie is going to fall asleep sometime tonight! Busy weekend coming up!

Better day today! Cammie has been sleeping pretty well the past few nights once she finally gets to sleep. Last night she woke up right after I mentioned that everyone was asleep but I had no trouble getting her back to sleep and then she stayed that way all night. I think sometimes the baby monitor picks up another baby though because I woke up hearing crying but when I checked on her she was out.

Today we had a visit from Uncle Gary and Uncle Michael. They were on their way to the beach. Cammie was very glad to see them and had a great time playing and laughing and being just generally adorable. She was laughing at Gary and it was so cute, just this big belly laugh. Too funny. The dogs were also glad to see them and once they got over the initial greeting were fairly well behaved. I had to keep an eye on Clyde though when they were leaving, he's their favorite!
