Why is stuff on my head so amusing??

Another icky day weather wise. We went to Sam's this morning and stopped in at Walmart to see Alice. It's the first time we had been in that Walmart in Glen Burnie, that place is freaking crazy. It's huge and it was packed! I know it's a weekend and all but still, and people were nasty because we were just walking around looking for Alice. Yikes!! Sam's wasn't too crowded so that wasn't bad, we just needed a few things. Cammie scarfed up the free sample of yogurt. When we left they were selling Girl Scout cookies out front and I didn't have any cash. I need some Thin Mints!!!!! Not much else happening, just getting ready to watch the Amazing Race. Can't believe the Terps made it to the big dance!! I think for our personal wager I'm going to go with UNC though to win. I still haven't collected on my Superbowl win.

Must get to the phone....

Kind of a bleary day today but we had a good afternoon and evening. We went to have dinner at John and Amy Breznak's. They have a great house, it's gorgeous and two little kids so Cammie had playmates. We had a really good time. Cammie crawled around and played with their toys and just generally made herself at home. Both of us fell asleep on the way home, I'm assuming Joe stayed awake. The downside to that is now Miss Thing has her second, third, fourth or whatever wind and is ready to party. Hopefully she will wear herself out crawling up and down the hall. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

Too Cute For Words!!!!

I love this picture!!! Theresa bought her these princess pjs and they have a little tutu that goes with it but it's too big right now (about the only thing that is!). I just think she looks so freakin cute! She should have won that most beautiful baby contest on Regis and Kelly! (I may be a tad biased) I'm boycotting that show because she didn't even make it into the top 10. (Shhh, I never watched it anyway) Ok I think I'll step off of my soapbox....

Busy day today! Cammie stayed with Daddy so I could run a couple of errands and then Alice came and took her to go shopping and have dinner with Meaghan! They all went to Arundel Mills and had a great time. They said Cammie only cried when she got tired and she slept all the way home from Meaghan's house. Joe and I had gone to an eye doctor appointment and then to Easton so Alice beat us back to the house. When she let the beasts out they let her know they wanted dinner so she had to feed them too! (That's always an exciting challenge) We went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner and one of Joe's friend's daughter was a hostess there. We hadn't seen her in years and she was so grown up, it made me feel so old!!!

Maryland beat Wake Forest!!! Yay!!

Oh and for those keeping track, it's 9:30 and Cammie is wide awake and still going strong......

Rearranging her room

Today was absolutely uneventful. I had no motivation what so ever. and a headache that wouldn't quit this morning. Joe went to a meeting all day and got home the usual time. I had to rearrange some things in Cammie's room to keep her out of them, really just her books and movies that were on the shelf in the pic. I'm sure you can guess why. She likes her board books but she also likes to try to rip the pages out of the other books. Joe is off until Tuesday so we should have a good weekend. I didn't pay attention to what the weather was supposed to be like.

(I can't believe that Spencer got voted off Survivor instead of Taj!!!!!)

Got a couple of errands done this morning and then went across the bridge for a doctors appointment at the hospital. I took Cammie with me and she was a big hit in the office. Everyone who came in the door got a big smile and commented on how cute she was. (I KNOW!!) The girls at Dr. Dix's were happy to see her, especially Sonja. Cammie was very social and very well behaved! She let out a couple of squeals while we were waiting but it was funny. On the way home she waited until we got all the way to route 8 before she fell asleep. UGH! Of course she promptly woke up when we got home and went full steam. She played in the grass with Eva for a little bit and then played with her toys. After dinner and a bath, she finally crashed although I'm sure she'll be up again soon ready for the night shift.

I got spoiled by those nice days, today was quite a disappointment. Have a bunch of errands to run tomorrow so hopefully it will be nice, supposed to be in the 70's. I can handle that. I can't believe how good Cammie got at crawling and how fast it happened. When she pulled herself up on the coffee table today she lost her balance and fell over backwards, boy I heard about that. She yelled and cried until I showed her, her reflection in the door (we have that sealing stuff on it so it's kind of like a mirror) then she got all smiley and cute. She has been waving too, sometimes she will stick her arms out behind her and wave, not sure what that is about. Then today she also blew me a kiss, I don't think it was intentional but I'll take it!!

I'm so confused about all this social security disability thing! The lady called today and was asking all these questions about my work comp settlement, I finally asked her to call the lawyers office. I'm not exactly sure what she is looking for, I just want to start receiving my benefits!

Night Patrol

Cammie stayed up until about 11 last night having a great time! She was up around 7 this morning and didn't take a nap until after 1 but then she slept until 4:30!! Can you believe it? I couldn't. Debbie came over this morning and she played with Cammie while I took a shower and then we went up to the outlets and then to Ramshead for lunch. Cammie was quite the charmer to the waiter, she got a grilled cheese that she really enjoyed. We had a really nice time! Debbie and I made a pact to get together at least once a month since it's been a while since we've seen each other!

When Joe got home we took the pups for a short walk which they loved and then had dinner. It was really pretty out today!

Enjoying a good book

Another gorgeous day! I wish it was like this all the time. We spent a lot of time outside and went for a walk with the pups. We also went and got seeds to start for the garden.

Cammie is unstoppable now, she has the crawling thing down let me tell you! I put her in her room and about 2 minutes later went back to check on her and she was in the office (probably getting ready to check her facebook page). :o) She is very funny, she is also trying to use the wii fit. She keeps crawling over to it and getting on it. Not much else is going on, just getting ready to watch The Amazing Race. I can't believe we have the windows open now and last week we couldn't watch it because it was snowing and the satellite went out.

Silly Cammie!

Well it's 9pm and Cammie is going strong. She has power napped a couple of times today so she is up for anything I guess. Today was absolutely gorgeous outside, it was about 70 degrees, we had all the windows in the house opened up and the dogs were loving the nice day. This morning we met Theresa, Mary and Zack at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I shared my pancakes with Cammie and she loved them!! I also gave her some of the hash brown casserole and she liked that, she didn't get much of it cause that is my favorite! More on that later. Then Zack went back to the house with Joe and Cammie while Theresa, Mary and I went to see if Carters had anything cute. :o) I found a thing or two that I liked. Joe rode out to try and cut firewood with Daniel but it was too wet for them to get to where they needed to go so he came home and took the beasts for a walk. (except for Max, he prefers to stay at home). Cammie took a brief nap and then we went out in the yard to talk to Sharon and Becca.

So back to the Cracker Barrel... I love the food by the way and am very happy that one opened up so close to the house. I do have a big butt, I mean but, I've only been there 3 times and each time it took the food forever to come out and the waitresses are, well the best word I can think of is odd. The first one that we had and I only remember this because she acts like I'm her long lost friend when I have been in there and insists that we know each other. Today the girl was very tan and very strange, nice but I found her odd. So that's my thing, I think the food takes too long to come out and the waitresses are "different".

Busy, busy, busy! I swear, Cammie wears me out! I don't know how Sharon got her to take a nap yesterday, she didn't sleep more than about 15 minutes twice for me today. She crawled across the living room and all around her bedroom. She's really very funny and fun to play with. I can't wait to start coloring! :o) It was really nice out today but the yard is such a wet mess that the dogs really couldn't play much. Joe took Pudge, Bailey and Clyde for a walk when he got home from work. Pudge was in a mood all day, he wouldn't come upstairs, he just sat in the recliner all day in the basement. Not sure what is up with that. I guess he just didn't want to be bothered with the rest of us! Hope everyone has good plans for the weekend!

Finding the perfect book

A supposedly tired Cammie is in her jumper seat squealing away and blowing raspberries at Daddy. Have a feeling this is going to be a long evening! She stayed with Sharon and Becca this afternoon while I went to the doctor and had a good time. Sharon reported no meltdowns just some fussiness when she was sleepy or hungry. Of course Cammie took an hour nap for Sharon.

I still don't have an answer as to exactly what is wrong with my stomach. The doctors that I saw today said I have all the symptoms of Crohns Disease but could also have IBS or celiac disease. Bleah. I have to keep a food journal for two months and have some bloodwork done. He also suggested another endoscopy and colonoscopy at some point. At the same time!! I hope they use two different scopes. That's just gross. Anyway, it's such a pain!

I feel about a hundred years old!! Cammie has been full of energy and is raring to go! She only napped for about 40 minutes today total. Luckily she will hold her bottle herself so I jumped in the shower while she was snacking. Yikes. We played and played and I got worn out but her, not so much!! Joe had to lower her crib to the lowest spot over the weekend and I think that is why I'm having a hard time getting her in there, she falls asleep but then wakes up when I drop her the last few inches in, just kidding, I lay her down but it's hard on my back so it's not very graceful and I'm sure that is what wakes her up. Tomorrow she is going to stay with Sharon and Becca because I have a doctors appointment in Lutherville. I know it's really far away but it's a GI doc from Hopkins that specializes in Crohns disease so I want to get another opinion. My mom got me an appointment with this guy. Hopefully he can do something for me.
The snow really started to melt today so the yard will be a swamp by this weekend I'm sure. The dogs will love slopping around in the mess but then cleaning it up will suck!!

Cammie definitely knows how to get what she wants! Last night we were going to lay in bed to watch TV and as soon as I laid her down she nestled right into the pillow and pulled the covers up over herself. I tried about three times to get her into her crib but she kept waking up. She is now sleeping in my spot in bed. Actually everyone is asleep in bed except for Max who is on the floor next to the bed. Had a pretty good day today, didn't go outside much since it was so cold. Cammie is getting over her cold but my back has been killing me. I fixed her a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner and broke it into tiny pieces for her and she loved it. She also did some wii fit exercises today. It looked like yoga, it was really cute. She put her hands on the board and then stuck her butt up in the air.

Snow Day!!

Whew! We got a bunch of snow! Joe finally got the snow off the satellite dish last night but I missed my show. Today we have gotten a few channels but some of them won't come in. I really dislike Direct TV but we have forever left on our commitment. UGH! Anyway, Cammie seemed to like her first snow. She looks so cute in her snowsuit (which as some of you know was a pain to find!!) and her little boots! One boot fell off while we were going outside and it was driving me crazy trying to find it, Joe found it in the snow outside, either Bailey or Clyde sneakily snagged it and ran. Those dogs!! Speaking of the beasts, they are loving the snow, some of the drifts are up to their stomachs and they run and jump in it. Too funny! We didn't want to take Cammie out for too long since she is still having a runny nose and cough so we just had a few photo ops for her. She'll be signing autographs later... She is really starting to get around in the house, if she can't get there backwards she just rolls around. Going to try to find something to get into for the rest of the day. We were playing wii carnival games earlier. Should do wii fit, but it's going to be really rude since we missed a day. :o)

Comfy in cute jammies!!

It finally started snowing this evening! AND right when we were about to watch the last episode of The Amazing Race Season 9 the Direct TV went out!!! I invested the last two days to watching that season and now I'm going to miss the finale. AAAHHHH It better come back on before this season's episode tonight. Plus Maryland plays bball tonight! So don't believe the ad from Direct TV that they rarely have outages of service when the weather is bad, ours goes out every time the weather is bad, even if it is just really cloudy or windy.

Anyway, not much to report again today... did get some cleaning done and lots of quality time playing with Cammie. She is so funny and cute I can't stand it!!! I just want to hug her all the time! I got her that Yo Baby yogurt to try and she loves it, although she really hasn't not liked any food that we have given her. She's also loving the cheerios! They do stick to her big cheeks though at times and we have found them under her chins. I guess she is saving them for later.
